Amazing price for top priesting!
I dont think its too fair to give a music product a poor review for the packaging that it comes in. Instead let us judge this on the quality of the content. What is not to like? Highlights from the first album are "Diamonds and Rust" and "Dissident Agressor" - Slayer do a right good cover of this too. The second album is a classic, British Steel. I will always love "Livin after midnight". To an aspiring 17 year old guitarist this was a godsend of a song. The Turbo album although sometimes critically mauled is actually a good solid album of slighty american influenced rock. Some of the riffs on this album show where the band were headed in later years see the riff from "Locked in" and have a listen to "Between the Hammer and the Anvil" and you will get what I mean. Of course The awesome Painkiller with the title track of which having one of the best and aggressive guitar solo's I have ever heard despite some Davros-esque vocals :O). Good stomping metal tunes on that album. Finally Angel of Retribution, top of this album must surely be "Worth Fighting For"Its an excellent all rounder of a collection and for the price just cannot be faulted.

Super high quality selection by Judas Priest...a bargain set from a great band
Fantastic value nicely presented. Loved all the 5cd series I have bought so far....including this one by Judas Priest. I highly recommend the Dream Theatre and Free sets in same series too.As a new Priest fan who fell in love with the band having listened to Sad Wings of Destiny first not a month ago (repeatedly!!), this is proving the perfect follow up with a great range of some of their classics from different eras. Painkiller is outstanding along with British Steel which is very highly by serious fans too.... and having looked around all the albums figure very highly in polls. On the back of this great set I have promised myself the rest of their albums...starting with the most recent, Firepower, which have heard is awesome.Anyway take it from me to not waste time if any kind of metal fan, because Priest are special, and Im a little ashamed i did not pick up on their greatness earlier.Judas are proving as essential as Sabbath, and are without doubt big influences and forefathers to Iron Maiden and probably Grandfather's to the likes of the very special band Opeth.... all of which I love.

5 must-have classic Metal albums (for price of 1) - like Pantera, a must-buy
Amazingly - despite being a metalhead of 25 years + (growing up with Iron Maiden, then getting into thrash (Megadeth/Metallica/Slayer/Sepultura/Pantera) had not listened properly to Priest until their recent album 'FIREPOWER' - which blew me away (both in heaviness and speed).Turns out these guys pre-dated Maiden, and are probably heavier. They are a good counterpart to Maiden, but without the 'epics' and the lyrics, and the guitar solos aren't quite as well structured. Nevertheless they are one of the greatest metal bands of all time... like Slayer, it's about the riffs, not the solos, and their guitar tone and drums are heavy and fast (pre-dating all thrash).... a massively influential band. And Rob Halford can hit notes higher than Bruce Dickinson... when you hear the opening of 'Dissident Aggressor' (on the 1st disc Sin by Sin) you hear excitement, crushing riff, cool drum work, but also the opening scream of 'Angel of Death' by Slayer... no wonder Slayer put a Judas Priest cover on South of Heaven. Essential metal, full stop, I am ashamed not to have explored this band before.

Who needs great packaging, its the music that counts
Fantastic way to catch up on back catalogue and replace worn out Vinyl. Some reviewers complain about the packaging, but all i do is rip them to MP3 and never see the CD's again so I'm not at all bothered by the packaging.Fantastic stuff from a great rock band

Good value for money
I'm never too worried about packaging as the music goes straight to mp3, so 5 great albums for a £10 can't be bad!
