Samsung 4GB DDR3 1333MHz Unbuffered SODIMM 4GB DDR3 1333MHz memory – 4GB – DDR3 – 1333 MHz, 204-pin SO-DIMM, 2 x 2 GB

When I purchased my laptop, I looked for a SODIMM to raise its RAM to the full 8GB permitted. I have used one specific brand for several years but was not then able to do so, so settled for another, which was about 2/3 of the price I expected to pay and have paid in the past.Since its installation, I have experienced several autonomous system shut-downs without a single explanatory error message being displayed and not in consequence of a Windows update. Simply, there is no obvious explanation. I have also experienced several BSODs and wondered whether there is a connection. I had also noticed that one of the SODIMMS, the topmost and newer, appears to be getting extraordinarily warm. I have used SODIMMS of the identical specification in several previous laptops without incident. My laptop is one of the best brands possible, near to the top of its then range of models, and little more than 6 months old.I am hoping that using an identical pair will be of benefit and remove the problems recently experienced. The system did not recognise any hardware change, so that is good. Only time will now tell.

Arrived on time... but did not work in the Toshiba C660-2D7 laptop. The manual indicates that it allows 1066MHz or 1333MHz, The laptop sees the 8Gb RAM. However, both sticks I purchased did not work... either together or both alone. Windows performs a BSOD on boot-up; "kernel security check failure".The web seems to push that this means there is something wrong with the memory... but since I am unable to verify if this memory is at fault or is simply incompatible with the machine, I can only give this information and provide a neutral result.I will say, however, that this RAM is packaged in STANDARD cellophane packaging, and NOT anti-static packaging. I placed my hand into the bag, and I was getting electrostatic electricity from the side of the bag!! The second bag, I did NOT do this, and poured the RAM out of the bag (a BIG bag considering the size of the RAM stick).

Wanted to upgrade my laptop that had 4gb and wanted to upgrade to 8gb , 1333mhz is just fine for a standard non-gaming laptop and at 8gb you cant lie that my laptop is so better performance than before , opening application etc.Opening up the laptop was easy and putting the ram was even easier , just unscrew the screws on the laptop where you think the area where the RAM might be , on laptops there should be two areas then unscrew that panel area then just slot it in , its very easier if you are confident to do it if not get some one to do that knows how.but overall its 5 out of 5 for money, performance.

RAM is RAM, does what it says on the tin, delivered quickly, upgraded my HP G6 from 4gbs to 8gbs, and then stuck an SSD in there Aswell, works super fast. With RAM you will only notice a difference in speed when doing high demanding things like video editing, or very slightly in games performance, if you're looking for a real speed boost on your Laptop then buy an SSD, 256gb did me fine, stick all my movies and stuff on my removable harddrive, also bought a caddy for the one I took out so I can use that as one Aswell. If you have the money defiantly buy an SSD trust me you won't regret it!

This Samsung 4GB RAM devices are match specification to existing devices for my iMac memory expansion , which is very important to maintain good computer function. Not only good value but received next day & packaged in separate antistatic modules . Well pleased.

Got this as a second slot RAM for a DELL Vostro 3550.Easy installation, works just fine, couldn't be happier.Be careful as to properly "stick it in" - slide it until you cannot see the connector's silver/gold contacts anymore, and then push it under the brackets.I was afraid to push on it and on the first try the laptop wouldn't wake.I took both memories out, put them back in, and then it took off.

Bought this DDR3 for my Toshiba in order to complete the 8 GB RAM expansion; had one already (from SAMSUNG) and wanted another so I even looked out for the brand of the one I already had. It was cheaper than the other brands and I doesn't lack quality.The product came really quickly and packaged in a small plastic case. I needed only to open it and plug it in my notebook. Works perfectly!Great product! Great experience!

After having tried some other memory that my laptop didn't like (I don't know why, they were the same time, same frequency, same timings and everything, they just didn't work), I looked up the RAM it actually had fitted and ordered this.The Ram arrived quickly, plugged it in and all seemed fine, did a few passes of Memtest86 and no errors arose, several months on I've still not had any problems with it at all.Would recommend.

Self installation was easy. It just worked. Once the iMac has finished booting (disk is the weakest link in most modern workstations - get a "fusion drive" if you buy a new Mac), it works like lightning.I checked this module matched the ones already installed. Don't assume the same has been used in yours. Its easy to check.

Well packed and worked straight out the box. I have a Dell N5010 -I tried some of Amazon's Kingston ram that said it was for an N5010 -it didnt work Its the wrong spec for this model. This Samsung Ram worked first time. Done the memory tests and it works fine.

Purchased product after trying various types from Kinsgton as recommended from their memory configuration website, none of which functioned on installation. Paid a little more for the Samsung product as an exact match for existing memory, and never regretted it.
