Kinetic Water is now Phox- Replacement Filter - makes 350-400L of alkaline water

Fantastic product. We love our Filter jug, use it every single day and the replacements are great too. Simple to change over and it never fails to amaze how great the water tastes when we change over.

After a false start when I originally bought the filter I gave kinetic the benefit of the doubt and ordered another filter cartridge. When I first used the filter and followed set up instructions, the water never turned black (even after several attempts) so I contacted the seller and they told me to soak it and bash it around before retrying. It still didn't work and my follow up email in response to their initial response to my query, was never answered. I'd also noticed the water literally came out of one tiny hole and againput it down to a dodgy filter.... the second filter that was delivered Friday did turn the water black during set up as described. I ran it through 3 times and have used it numerous times since Friday. Concerningly, after the glass had sat there for a while today, I noticed a black residue had collected in the bottom, suggesting I have been ingesting carbon(?) while breast feeding my newborn. I'd like to know if I should be worried? Why has the filter failed to deliver twice? I really hoped this would be a good product and that it was effective in making drinking water purer. Sadly tap water seems a safer bet.

The original kinetic water jug and filter I bought was brilliant, unfortunately this replacement filter did not work properly, the water would only trickle through at a ridiculously slow speed that rendered it useless...I don't know what the filters are like since they changed their name..

I already have a Pureair filter but it drives me crazy as it's so slow to pour out (the way out for the water is too narrow now having looked at the Kinetic filter jug) the water I was finding myself not only having to take the lid off, but the whole filter compartment too just to get the water out!The Kinetic is designed well and pours beautifully. The water tastes distinctly different from my tap water so whatever it's doing, it's doing it well!

I have had my Kinetic filter for under a year, this is my second x3 filters purchase. The Kinetic jug is good, robust and may be large to put in the fridge but I do keep mine out of fridge anyway. My concern is the filter, like many other consumers, I have had the water sticking and not filtering through problem and have put up with the trickle through. The filter I have in now runs through fast. My issue is whether the water is being filtered well and is the 5-stage filteration performing well? I have noticed my kettle scalling up and slight scum marks when making tea.My experience with Kinetic filtration:1. The taste is NOT as clear, 'clean' as bottled mineral water.2. The indicator for 'change filter' on the lid, no longer works /displays - Is this still under guarantee?3. I am uncertain about thorough filteration process (as described above)

I bought the original filter and jug a few months back, a bit more expensive than others but thought I would try it. The water quality is great but the filters are a bit hit & miss in respect of flow output! This most current filter fitted on 3.1.18 has been appalling, I carried out all the initial soaking and shaking but it still seems to slow right down to 'non-existent' flow! Have had to drain water from top reservoir twice now and shake/squeeze filter to regain flow. After I have finished the other filter I have will seriously consider buying another filter jug setup. Never had thee issues with the Brita jugs and filters I have had previously. These Phox filters are not cheap so should perform as good as other brands that are a lot cheaper!Update - 9/1/18: still appalling flow, have had to daily shake and squeeze filter to regain flow. Its unfortunate that I bought two replacement filters at the same time other wise I would have called it a day with this filter system. Also, because its not flowing well we have accidentally spilled the contents of the top reservoir onto the worktop, in one instance knocking a glass over! The reservoir had been filled about an hour previous! I really do not recommend these filters.Update 12/1/18 - Filter still poor performance. Contacted Phox who were very helpful. They have conformed there is a batch of filters that do not perform satisfactory. Also, they stated that there is a redesign in progress and new filters will be available in about 20 days. They are going to replace my poor flowing filter with a new type when they become available.

I have been using this for a while. The water tasted 10 times better here because it is always very hard and this filter makes it extremely soft. Better then bottled water. No residues at the bottom in my water jug. Perfect!

Not happy with these new cartridges from Phox...they clog my jug !Do not work !My water if any comes out looks murky !Through me taking the cartridge out several times to try and ' get it to work ' my day count down on my expensive newish kinectic jug has now stopped too !!!!Thinking of buying a water distillery now....Wanted to give it NO star review but too submit this 'had' to give it a ONE star.....
