Good value for money
Seems good quality, lightweight and easy to use and carry around. Will see how it goes with use.

very good value, does what it says on the tin
Great little product, delivered on time and in perfect condition. I had lost my original item which cost considerably more when bought elsewhere and seeing this replacement on amazon at such a reasonable price it was a no brainer to buy it and see. I was not disappointed. It is of a perfect size, looks good and extends smoothly. I have read a review on here claiming that the head is loose during operation. This could be because they are using it incorrectly. The head folds down for easy storage. If you tap the tendon toward the direction it will naturally fold of course it will bend, tap it the other way and it doesn't move at all and works perfectly. I have given it five stars because it deserves it.

Yes the head collapses sometimes, but I'm overall really pleased with this
The media could not be loaded. Folds down very small and easily, great to keep in your pocket rather than a big, whole tendon hammer. Overall very light-weight to carry too. Really nice design, very sleek silver and black design. Handle feels very sturdy and good quality, with a good weight to it. Yes, as others have said, the head sometimes collapses when you strike the hammer on one side, as seen in the video. However, this is easily fixed by just tightening the screw at the top with a normal screwdriver every once in a while, which makes it become very stiff/solid again.

Good solid tendon hammer!
Good solid tendon hammer. Easy to hold and use. Good build quality. Telescopic so folds done for storage. I carry mine in by stethoscope case. The heed folds too so has a flat profile when folded. Bit for pricey than the plastic ones but it looks great and very professional.

Expensive, ineffective, broken
I bought this product as a medical student to provide a compact, easily portable tendon hammer for practising for OSCEs and clerking patients.Within the first ten uses of this telescopic hammer, the uppermost part of the telescope came out of the telescope system. It had been evident it was going this way for days, the separate poor quality pieces of metal used to anchor it being pulled through the telescoping of the previous segment whenever the hammer was extended. In addition to swiftly being broken, I also found this hammer not to be very useful clinically. The head of the hammer seemed quite hard compared to contemporaries I have used in clinics resulting in very little bounce, and pain for the patient/my buffering fingers, and the shaft of the telescoping was very rigid making it generally ineffective for eliciting pendular reflexes; notwithstanding it breaking I quickly abandoned it for other conventional tendon hammers.Given the high cost of this item, I would warn anyone against purchasing it - high cost, poor performance, breaks very quickly.

Good buy
Live this - sturdy - fits in my pocket - the end isn’t too sharp - does the job.

Not fit for purpose
I bought this thinking it'll be super portable and compact. However I've learnt from senior neurologists now that these tendon hammers are not fit for purpose. They don't have the level of "give" required to trigger a reflex. They're too rigid. The cheap plastic ones (preferably with good rubber cushioning) do a much better job. These are actually quite painful on the fingers.

Used but sold as new
Hammer itself is good quality and working as it should. However, mine showed a significant amount of usage and was delivered in a damaged package.
