LongridgeGolf Power Band Swing Practice Aid

I was pleasantly surprised by the robust fabrication of this item given the relatively low price. Unlike some low-cost golf aids I've bought in this past, this is a proper bit of kit and it gives you the impression it will take a lot of wear.From a use standpoint, once you get used to fiddling both arms down into the band and selecting clubs with your elbows essentially tied together, it really does do what it says on the tin.I'm a single figure golfer who hits it a long way but with poor accuracy; poor connection with my arms has always been an issue.This device really helps you keep your arms moving as one unit. In fact it quickly became apparent that, unless I improved my posture and using my chest and arms together for more of a one-piece takeaway, that I could barely get a decent strike on the ball.Initially it was slightly uncomfortable and frustrating, but that was my fault. I had problems that needed ironing out and this really helped.In the first session I really struggled to hit any proper full shots. However, what happened on my next visit to the range was the real eye opener.On my return the following day, hitting balls without the Power Band, the improvements in posture, takeaway, connection and rhythm immediately translated into improved ball striking. My subsequent visit a couple of days later showed this was no coincidence.Since buying the band I've only used it occasionally for 10-20 shots at a time to reinforce the general feeling of connection and compactness promoted by the tension of the device.Without being too over the top, I can honestly say it's the best value for money golf aid I've bought in terms of cost, quality, ease of use and effectiveness. It's super simple and super effective and I'd bet that anyone from a 6 to a 36 handicap could benefit from hitting a few balls using the Power Band.PS. No incentive for me to promote this product. I usually only ever write annoyed reviews, but the value I got from this product was too good to leave unmentioned.

Works well in maintaining the connection between torso and arms during swing. Sturdy & easy to put on and over a period of a 1hr practice got good feedback results. Also helped that it was on offer when purchased.

I bought this after remembering a few times at the driving range strangers kept throwing remarks about my elbows doing the funky chicken! As usual when I tried to keep my elbows in and by my side everything else went wrong. I thought I'd buy this, as it was cheap and I thought it's something that wouldn't hurt too much if it didn't work.Wow is the results; the more my elbows try to flap it pulls on the other arm instantly reminding me that my swing is going wayward. it really works. I've been playing for about 3 years and never had a lesson (pride prevents me!) this has helped me keep my elbows close and bend my elbows this has given me so much power and I'm NOT straining and hurting my body.I use it at the beginning of a session and then if I start to fall apart the Power band goes straight back on. This has helped me develop my swing so much and yes I'm swinging easier and the ball is going straighter and far further. If I'd bought this when I first began I think it would have advance my golf by two years no kidding. I bought the SKLZ Tempo Grip Trainer two years ago and I'm using that only effectively now! As it will not tell you if you have a fundamentally flawed swing; oh the time wasted is a lesson learned harshly!Go and buy the Power Band now it really is a fantastic training aid and cheap as chips and cheaper than a golf lesson too!

I've used a similar tool with my local pro back in the 90s, but had totally forgotten about it until I saw the Longridge Power Band.When the package arrived today it was with anticipation I put it on. But when doing so, I felt how it scraped against the skin. Once on, I could still feel some scraping when swinging. As the material isn't as comfortable as it could be, I can not use it unless I wear long sleeves.That said. It sure does the job. If you, as I, have a tendency to let your right elbow glide apart from your left arm in your backswing, it will feel so strange...

This gadget has tightened up my swing no end .My iron play has improved and i am now the par 3 king with my buddies.If my swing goes of i put it on and take a few practice swings and it gets me back on track. A bargain.

This is very good for the cost, as it works well on half swings keep those arms and hands working together, and yes would recommend to all, worth using and checking your swing occasionally.

This has helped correct my swing after just 2 days of use. Since I wasn't concentrating so much on whether or not my left arm was straight at the start of the swing (this helped do it for me), I was able to focus on the other bits of my swing (balance, hip rotation, finish) that I needed to work on. It worked a treat as it seemed to help things "click." I will continue to use it for warm-up swings at home.
