I’m reshaping a patio so had to cut about 5 linear metres. After initially being confused about how to connect up the hose and attach the blade (instructions would have been useful for both parts), I managed to get the job done fairly well. The hose part works ok, though perhaps I didn’t have it on strong enough pressure so it didn’t pop off. The blade was pretty blunt by the end of 5m but that’s fine with me as I’ll only be laying a small patio, not doing much more.The MOST annoying feature is that it’s basically only possible to buy the blades on amazon. This is disappointing as I went to a hardware shop and they don’t stock this size bore. It’s unique to this cutter.Noise-wise it’s a cutter so no surprises there. Cable is fine on an extension and it’s not so powerful it has a lot of kickback. Hose works, just about meaning virtually no dust. Nice to have adjustable cutting depth. For an amateur wanting a small, neat cutter that won’t be used for long, this is ideal. The blades are 16 squid so I don’t imagine it will be used all that much long term!! Slightly annoying that I bought this version as it’s the same as the amazon version that comes without a blade but I didn’t know which blade to buy hence getting this version.

The only problem with this machine is the water connection which is beyond pathetic. I managed to use a 1/2" compression coupling inserted into the strange black plastic connector provided in order to be able to use a Hozelock connector. The supplied connector is neither truly 1/2" nor 15mm and so it's hard to get a good join and a good application of silicone is also required. This makes the hose connection usable though still not perfect. The tube that connects to the machine, however, will fly off the minute the water supply is anything more than a trickle and so you end up having to use one hand just to keep the tube connected. If I can find a small enough jubilee clip or P clip then I might be able to solve this too. Otherwise, it's a great machine! They just need to rethink the water connections and then this would be a real winner.

wow! what a tool wet cutting saw cut my granite worktops for me with the 110 dewalt diamond cutting blade.it is a must have if anybody wishes to cut there own granite or engineered stone kitchen worktops i didnt wait for 7 weeks for em my husband cut em and put em on in 1 day no fussing with the machine just attach to a outside water tap hose pipe and cut away at the stone in seconds you have it cut.small machine but big cuts no problem.best buy ever.
