They are exactly as described, can't comment on their suitability yet as not had them long enough. Will update soon!Ok so update!....they are brilliant!A week or two passed and nothing happened, thought urgh..waste of money. Then the magic happened! Saw droplets of water in the container, have filled 3 of these now. One is under my clothes horse so the excess moisture from drying clothes in the house isn't going into the air.I also have one in my kitchen cupboard. It's a ground floor unit and the wall it's on has a damp issue. Before I had these the cupboard had weird mould coming in, no matter how much I bleached used specific chemicals on it, every month it would be back on a huge scale, this rendered the cupboard useless as not able to store anything in there. Since using this dehumidifier pot in there..no more mould!Very impressed!Am on my last pot now so will definitely order more. Definitely worth the purchase price

Good size and actually work

Took a punt at these for our converted garage. It smelt damp and only had underfloor heating on tiled floor. It’s 3m x 11m with high vaulted ceilingStarted using them 1 August and at first , they appeared not to work ( as others have said). Initially, as it gathered damp, the balls started to go hard- yet no water was collected in container below. Not sure if this is because the area hasn’t got a lot of damp, or if the product was defective?Anyway, as the garage room is used infrequently, we left them in there.7 October I noticed that the two containers are 3/4 full of water. I’d written this product off, yet it’s obviously working. Only thing that’s different is that in last few weeks we’ve had oil filled electric heaters on twice a day for two hours, but can’t see how that would affect the damp collectors working?Overall they’re cheap and do work & worth trying for the price.

These are an absolute must buy!!!! Anywhere you think you could have a build up of moisture in a smaller environment you will need these.I have a brand new motor home, the other half scoffed slightly stating 'it is new and sealed, there won't be any excess moisture, you're just wasting your money'.Well after distributing all 5 boxes around the vehicle (cab area, kitchen, bathroom, external lockers), the next time I visited the vehicle a few weeks later nothing still 5 completely dry little boxes.I began to think he may have been right (was not going to tell him that though) as well as some of the other reviews on here that said they were no good and they threw them away. But I thought, well maybe the motorhome is just sealed enough that damp/moisture will not be an issue it is new.A few weeks after that visit, went back to the motorhome and lo and behold water droplets were visible in the base of the boxes - yay they work!Then in March decided to go away for the weekend to Cromer in Norfolk (staying at Woodhill Park, East Runton - highly recommend).When we travel we always take the boxes out and leave at home as they can be a little cumbersome to store/work around.Weekend was lovely, it did rain the whole time, but the high humidity levels weren't helped by the fact that on the first night we sprung a water leak that spread from the bathroom out to under the fixed bed, then down to the kitchen area, the floors and carpets were soaked! It was very upsetting, but got out towels and kitchen roll and mopped it all up, the place looked and felt very dry.Got back home, unpacked the motorhome and popped the little blue boxes back inside - just to let him know I was still using them and hadn't wasted my money....A week later, back to the motorhome and I was astonished all the boxes were completely filled with water, and the motorhome was fine no damp or moisture issues. The boxes had done a fantastic job of pulling out moisture that I thought wasn't even there as to me the place felt completely dry when we left.After waving the full boxes at my other half (I may have stuck my tongue out saying ner ner ner ner ner) I promptly ordered more, and made a vow to never be with out them as paying the small cost meant not having to remove damp from the walls of a fully fitted motorhome.These are a one time use product, essentially there are 2 compartments. The top compartment holds what looks like little white polystyrene balls, the second compartment is empty. As moisture is sucked in by the small balls they seem to dissolve and then the liquid collects in the bottom compartment. All nice and neat really.

I started buying these a couple of years ago. At the time I too was sceptical as wether they would work. They did, and the work well.I live in a flat in an old victorian house. As such, there were areas prone to damp. As with other reviewers, I was using a bleach solution to remove the mould. Using these boxes has now improved that by 80%. With less mould appearing the humidity levels in the affected rooms has dropped too. I'm guessing with less damp/mould patches, the air quality must be better too?The boxes are easy to use. A protective film is removed & the box placed near an area prone to damp. On a window ledge, in a corner, in a cupboard. I see other reviews have used them in caravans to remove musty smells. When in place, nothing seems to happen for a week or two. Then you notice the water collecting in the box. It has a level indicator to show when its full.

At times there is condensation in my tent. I bought these to help with this problem. Nothing is in the lower tray where condensation gathers. Maybe weather too warm.

Perfect for the bottom of a wardrobe

These dehumidifiers simply failed to work in an environment previous dehumidifiers have done well in. Remained bone dry over 2 months of use. Took it up with Zoozio Tv customer service who pretended not to understand the issue and refused to address my concerns. Do yourself a favour and select another brand
