Hi i ordered this item and recieved something diffrent, seller contacted me to resolve this issue and they were brilliant in sorting this issue and they were very quick too. I would buy from them again. The cleaner i recieved is good and does the job. Delivery was very quick too.

Arrived quickly, and was well packaged. Instructions were inadequate and misleading. Here is how it actually works: The left section of the package is simply a manual CD disc cleaner, comprising a plastic holder for a CD disc and a round brush for cleaning it. This works just fine for cleaning a CD disc, especially if you use the supplied cleaning fluid. The right section of the package is a cleaning CD disc with two small brushes embedded in the surface. The idea is to add a drop of the cleaning fluid to each brush and then put the cleaning CD into your CD player and play it. Problem is that if your CD lens is particularly dirty it won't play the disc properly, and it takes several goes until the lens is sufficiently clean to read it properly. There are 14 tracks on the disc; Track 1 is just an intro. Track 2 is the instructions in English. Tracks 3-7 are instructions in various other languages. Track 8 is the actual cleaning track and it runs for 40 mins. Tracks 9 is the completion message in English, and tracks 10-14 in other languages. The problem is that the English instructions (track 2) tell you to jump to Track 9, meaning you miss out Track 8 the actual 40 minute cleaning track. Once you figure all this out, the actual cleaning on track 8 seems to work okay, though you may need to run it several times to get it to complete. After I'd done this, my problem with intermittent reading faults on my CD player is much improved.

Ok this doesn’t work sham because it looked like it would but NO!!!!

I bought 2 of these for my father and brother who both seemed to think that DVDs and CDs as well as their players didn't need cleaning! The instructions and equipment are easy to understand and use, cleaning is quick and the kits are a bargain. So I thoroughly recommend buying one of these sets for yourself or someone else, at this price its a steal as they say. Plus it's an investment in maintaining your equipment and CDs/DVDs. What's to lose?

Good service and product

We used this on a DVD player that we hadn’t used for a very very long time. Tried to use DVD player on Boxing Day but It wouldn’t go. Found this cleaning set and thought would give a go. Instructions a bit fiddly to use and did try a couple of times as wasn’t sure it had completed or done the job.We unfortunately picked a dvd that didn’t actually work when testing (must have been uncompatable with our DVD player) to see if cleaning worked but tried some others and they worked a treat so very pleased we got the DVD player working again. So take note, try more than 1 DVD when checking if the cleaning disc has worked. So very pleased.
