It's telling that when you ask most people to name a brand of long-life batteries, most of the responses would be "Duracell". Obviously, that's largely due to a pervasive advertising and branding strategy, but it's fair to say that most people will have used Duracell batteries at some point. I take photos for a living and I almost exclusively use Duracell's rechargeable batteries in my flashguns as I can trust that they will do the job. And the same is true of these non-rechargeable AAA batteries. This pack contains batteries from the "Plus" range, which sits in the middle as far as performance is concerned - above "Simply Duracell", but below "Duracell Ultra". This makes them suitable for general use, such as motorised toys or portable radios, but not really for use in high-drain applications like digital cameras or flashguns. In normal use, I've found that they will last much longer than I would expect - in devices like TV remote controls, they'll last years. One added bonus is that these batteries have a guaranteed ten year shelf life (though the set I received were manufactured last year and so expire in 2026, but I'm not going to quibble, I'll have used them long before then).

A top brand for a reasonable price

Thanks to our superb NHS I am temporarily 🤞 crippled and take ages to answer the front door. So. I give in your delivery instructions to gain access and put delivery inside the door and call out - agree there’s not the space provided to write all that, but I’m told the brief instructions are clear. But what happens? Door is thumped loudly but then a door bell sighted and this is rung... long pause...fortunately the order can come thro’ the letterbox. Deliveries can be left in a cupboard ( but you provide insufficient space to explain that clearly) or by getting the key available thro’ commonplace security systems. It would be much easier for your very hard pressed and exhausted delivery staff to put orders in the cupboard.....if there was a way to indicate this.
