A Plaything for Growing Boys
Since the early 80's, Fred Krueger's glove has been viewed as a thing of enchantment by those who enjoyed the Nightmare films. As a boy, I recall simply wanting to touch the glove. Ironically, it truly seemed to be made of the stuff of dreams. It had a mysterious air about it, the sounds it made, the way it made Robert Englund's hand look as he moved about with it.Bottom line; it was fascinating.Recently, I've taken on the task of watching these films all over again with my two oldest boys. One of them is thirteen, the other is ten. We've only completed the second film and I'm being bombarded with questions about the American Horror Icon. "Who was he when he was alive?", "How did he get all burned-up?"... and the best one, "Why did he make that glove?"That's when I decided to purchase one. Of course, I needed something safe. So, I found this one. It's sturdy and it has safe, plastic blades on it. The fingers have adjustments on them to fit different size hands, and even the glove has a drawstring around the wrist.I've already been informed by the ten-year-old as to what I should expect come next Halloween.-H

Fun, but a Bit Awkward
I wore this for my Halloween costume. It was a lot of fun, but over time it was a stretch on my fingers, since I couldn't fully close them. I was worried about it breaking, since the clasps around my fingers were pretty flimsy and the plastic barely held up when I tightened them. But they moved with my fingers and I made people laugh by dancing with it on. Overall a good buy if you're not worried about quality or durability.

Works with life sized animatronic Freddy!
Purchased this to repair a broken blade on my animatronic Freddy. When he's active, he says some clever Freddy line, and moves his gloved hand.I would have liked to have gotten a killer metal reproduction or something like that, but tbh that seems a bit too dangerous, and $9 is hard to beat, even if only for a test fit glove. My goal was to fit this glove over the old glove after I broke off all the blades on original.Didn't quit work out that way.I had to remove the nylon glove from the item I'm reviewing, which was easy, but you probably don't want it to fall apart like I did..Anyway, with a little effort this glove will work fine for my life sized Kruger.Yes it's cheap, yes it will break, but it's $9.. when I was a child I got almost the very same glove from retail for way more than that! I'm thinking it was like $30+ in the 1980s.

Absolutely horrible
The quality is absolutely garbage. The fit barely fits my hand. The claws are curled not even straight. Worst thing I’ve probably ever spent my money on.
