LAMY abc Fountain pen - Red

I have quite small hands and find this pen really comfortable to use. It writes really smoothly, and is a joy to use.I know it's aimed at kids but I've not found another pen that's suited me so well. I love the LAMY pens and ink cartridges, and this is my favourite pen so far.

This pen was suggested for my son by his headteacher, to help improve his writing skills. It's a great pen for children, incorporating a finger grip at the top, to help them gripit the correct way, which in turn helps them towards a better writing style. I was warned that switching to a fountain pen can slow the writing speed as the child gets used to the pen, so I bought this at the start of the summer holidays so that he could practice and get up to speed before going back to school in September. This plan has worked very well, as starting a new year is big enough without having to worry about a new pen too. My son has just turned 9 and really enjoys using his Lamy pen. I bought a second pen as a back up for when the inevitable happens! :)

Bought for my nine year old granddaughter for first time using a fountain pen .She loved it and enjoys using it .

Very happy with this, I did a lot of research to find a good pen for my son to improve his handwriting, it is coming along slowly and the markers for finger placement really help. Was impressed and purchased the pencils also which are helping both children, just wish I had got the pencils a lot sooner to improve grip. Highly recommend.

Very good pen to improve handwriting

Love the pen - and its wooden which is very unusual. Im an adult ,but love the design and quality.The knib is very thin and I perhaps would prefer a broader one- but thats not the products fault. The quality is good and pleasant to use with the adaptor to convert to a fountain pen. Could definately recommend.

I bought this for my son as his first fountain pen for school. It is sturdy and the grips for his fingers really helps. it is really good value for money.My son loves it and his writing has improved dramatically too. I would definitely recommend this product.

This is a fantastic beginners fountain pen, I have A Lamy fountain pen myself and love writing with it but bought this for my niece and she loves it, very comfortable in her hand.
