Useful and tasty
Tastes like sugar. Good for your teeth. Possibly some mild anti-viral action. Useful for more than just baking though it is fine to bake with. No smell. Texture is like larger crystals of sugar. It'd be nice if it was as cheap as sugar, but worth the cost.

Perfect sugar swap super convenient and lasts forever!
I’ve been using xylitol for a while now, and I absolutely love how convenient it is. I use it daily in my coffee or tea (my little cuppa upgrade), and it works great in baking and cooking too no weird aftertaste like some sweeteners. Plus, a little goes a long way! It lasts me ages, which is a huge bonus. Sweetens just like sugar but with fewer guilt trips. Definitely a pantry must-have if you’re trying to cut down on regular sugar! Great for teeth too!

Excellent sugar substitute.
Brilliant product. I’ve used Xylitol for a while now as a substitute for sugar. It is, in my humble opinion, the best tasting natural sweetener out there. It is excellent if you need to regulate your sugar intake, or want to watch the calories! It’s a versatile product and goes a long way. There are various different companies offering this product but all I can say is that the NKD Living one tastes good, is good value compared to others on the market, and was delivered promptly and was as described. Thank you.

Great mouthwash but not good for baking- keep away from dogs!
The media could not be loaded. This xylitol by NKDLiving has been a great addition to my daily routine but not for sweetening. I mainly use it as a mouthwash alternative for oral health, and it’s genuinely made a difference. A half teaspoon dissolved in water and swished around after brushing or meals feels really clean and fresh, and it’s helped reduce that dry feeling I sometimes get. There’s good research behind xylitol reducing harmful bacteria and supporting enamel, so I feel better knowing I’m doing something extra that’s actually beneficial and not just cosmetic.I’ve tried it a couple of times in baking, just out of curiosity, and while it looks exactly like sugar and tastes very close, it doesn’t behave quite the same when it comes to baking. It doesn’t have that sticky, caramelising quality you need for things like cookies or cakes to bind or brown properly. So it’s fine for simple things like sweetening tea or porridge, but I wouldn’t rely on it as a full sugar substitute in recipes where texture matters ( that’s why I’ve taken off a star)Also, it’s worth knowing that while it’s marketed as a lower-calorie option, it still has about 60% of the calories of sugar per gram. So if you’re using large amounts thinking it’s calorie-free, it can still add up.All that said, for my purposeoral healthit’s excellent. The 1kg bag is good value and lasts a long time. Just keep it away from pets (especially dogs) as xylitol is highly toxic to them!!

The best sugar substitute
Unlike many other sugar alternatives, xylitol does not taste weird and doesn’t foam up in your cup of tea. It is the most sugar-like substitute out there - it even has that crunch. Despite the chemistry-lab-sounding name, it’s a natural product made from birch trees (I think), and it even benefits your teeth by fighting bacteria in your mouth and helping your body absorb calcium. One word of warning though - use sparingly! A teaspoon in your tea is fine. Using several hundred grams in a cake recipe is not, especially if a couple of you eat that cake in a flat with just one toilet. Otherwise, yeah go for your life.

Good quality.
We buy this all the time, it is good quality and always in good condition. It stores well and is easy to reseal the pack. I think the price was very fair. It's very good for your teeth, as a mouth rinse or in food, much healthier than sugar. A repeat purchase - always arrives promptly and well packaged.
