I bought this Violin Rosin for my daughter. It wasn't the cheapest available but seemed a quality product. It was wrapped in a cloth however I sort of expected it to come in a tin or container which was a supprise when it didn't have one and it would have been nicer as it was a gift. Anyway problem solved as we used the previous Rosin tin, probarbly more enviromentally friendly I guess.

Very effective Rosin and virtually no dust residue. I was getting very little sound out of the G string but the rosin made a huge difference to the performance of the bow. Now achieving a lovely resonance on all strings!

This was the first rosin that I used when I started playing the violin almost 20 years ago. I tried switching it up a bit in the intervening years but this just proved that the Hidersine rosin is the best. It produces less dust and glides along the bow much more smoothly than other brands, meaning less of that scratchy sticky feeling that gives me the shivers. This should last a good few years. Was also worried that this would come in a tin as pictured and mentioned by a few others but it actually came in a lovely sturdy box, similar to the one I had all those years ago, and it looks much classier.

Works well! gives bow a decent amount of grip, great for the price, because buying things for the violin can often get quite pricy. Also a very nice little container for the rosin.
