I’d never heard of fractionated coconut oil, and didn’t even know what ‘fractionated’ meant until until I saw this product and decided to find out about it. My little blue Staffy has alopecia and someone recently recommended coconut oil to help her bald dry skin, so I bought some. It came in a lidded pot, and was white and solid. Until then, I’d only thought of coconut oil in relation to sun tanning products - which usually smelt overbearingly 'coconutty'.I discovered that raw virgin coconut oil is solid at room temperature and is mainly used in body products and cooking, whereas fractionated coconut oil is a liquid (also known as ‘liquid coconut oil’) used mainly in facial products.Fractionated coconut oil is coconut oil that has had certain fatty acids removed from it, making it a superior oil which quickly and easily penetrates the skin and moisturises without clogging the pores. If you like the smell of coconut you’ll be disappointed with this oil, because it has no smell. It is just a nice light clear colourless oil which rubs in beautifully, leaving no oily residue.Like about 20% of women over 40, and a few men, I have an under active thyroid gland, and one symptom of hypothyroidism is dry flaky skin. This fractionated coconut oil has already made a difference to the appearance of my skin, particularly on my constantly flaking legs. If you have dry flaky skin you will find this product is excellent because it traps moisture, softening the skin and making it look younger. It also conditions and revitalizes hair and scalp.I’ve only recently discovered argan oil (in shampoo and foot moisturisers etc), and now I’ve found this coconut oil, so I’m currently using both on my hair. Unlike Argan oil shampoo, this oil is not a shampoo though. You wash your hair first then rub this fractionated oil into your scalp and hair, then rinse off leaving your hair conditioned and revitalized. Before I discovered this I would never have put oil on my hair for fear of making it look sad and flat, but I really like this oil - even on my hair!I obtained this Instanatural Fractionated Coconut Oil free in return for giving an honest, unbiased opinion of it. I enjoy providing potential purchasers with my thoughts and experiences to (hopefully) help them to make an informed decision about a product they are considering buying. The fact that it was free has not influenced my opinion of the product in any way. If I don’t like something, or feel there is a problem with it, I will always say so!

I bought this oil as I've heard good things about coconut oil and as I also suffer from dry skin I thought I'd give it a go. The oil rubs in very easily, and doesn't stay greasy for long. It has definitely improved the skin on my legs and they look nice and healthy despite not having seen the sunshine since last summer.So far so good. The bottle, however, is a nightmare as it is of quite soft plastic so if you hold on to it and make the plastic bend a bit then the oil will spurt out. I can see why it isn't a hard type of plastic in case you use the normal top and not the pump dispenser though the oil is very liquid so would not need much persuasion to exit the bottle. I use the pump dispenser as I don't want to get the whole bottle greasy but it also means that I have to remember to lock the pump every time after use and/or before I move the bottle. But perhaps I am just very heavy handed. All in all very good but I wish the bottle was of better quality.

I have used fractionated coconut oil for ages for all sorts of uses. The price, for all suppliers, has gone up drastically over the past 12 months. This one was the most reasonably priced one at the time of purchase. I was a bit worried that it might be a case of - you get what you pay for, but it was fine. I would have given it 5 stars but for the bottle it comes in - it is not a pump style and tends to dispense far too much when you pour, but I resolved that by decanting into a small pump bottle from the Pound shop. Would buy again - at the same price

I am a professional massage therapist and I write this review using the oil only for this purpose, this is a good product for massage. similar to grapeseed oil, so lighter than almond oil. I prefer almond oil based product to massage as it glides better, but this is a good alternative, it has the added benefit of being less oily and so for cleaning up less messy. It leaves clients with a less oily feeing. Fast delivery and well packaged, I am about to order some more so it must be ok. I would like to see some armomatherapy blends for relaxation and sports massage as long as they had no additional chemicals added.

OK I know I'm going to sound like a total smarty pants but I have been adding a drop of oil into my foundation prior to application (I'm 47) for many moons before it became 'A Thing' - I mention this because I recently decided to find the perfect oil to make this process even better and that's how I came to discover InstaNatural. There's something about this oil that works differently to any other I have tried. It's so easily absorbed yet works with foundation like a second skin. By way of example, I spilled a few drops on my hand by accident tonight, this is what prompted my review. The oil was absorbed so quickly it was like my skin drank it - what kind of oil does that?! I've found it works really well when applied to wet skin after the shower, have used it on my hair as a treatment and use it to smooth my eyebrows. This is now my go-to beauty product which I believe is owing to its purity. It also comes with an optional dispenser which is really useful so in addition to the oil's versatility, purity and results its a genuine five star product.

If you're looking for a good all round moisturiser, look no further. I've been thinking 'where've you been all my life' I'm 64 and though i don't expect miracles i could see a great difference with the first application. My skin has got a more even texture and feels lovely and smooth. the greatest difference is with my hair. after years of colouring it has become quite dry. I applied it to dry hair and left it on for 3 hours, then washed and conditioned as normal, the results were unbelievable, even after 3 days still feels soft and silky to touch. Leaves it shiny too. All in all i am happy with my purchase, can't comment on my nails yet as it has only been a recent purchase. At this moment my nails are not in good condition so i will have to wait and see, but my hopes are high.
