JETech 2170- Universal Wireless Charger Qi Charging Pad

This charger is an excellent purchase for anyone looking for this type of item!I bought this because the charging port on my nexus 7 had broken and it would cost a lot of money to fix, therefore this is very useful for me and saved me a lot of money!Firstly, the customer service from this company is excellent! The package arrived the next day with my standard delivery (*not guaranteed for everyone*) which was very impressive. Therefore, this order was 3 days earlier than the expected delivery. Also, I was sent an email from the company itself after receiving the package telling me that if I had ANY concerns, I could sent an email back and they would respond asap. They also said that my 100% satisfaction is guaranteed which is very nice to hear, considering how some other companies can be with their enquiries. A* for customer service!The actual dock itself is very thin, making it easy for travel and storage. You can tell that the design has been well thought out! The quality of the material is rather impressive too as it doesn't feel cheap at all!On the bottom of the charger, there are 5 small, rubberised "feet" that are very efficient and effective. They stop the charger from sliding around extremely well and are not too large so that they allow the charger to rest pretty close to the ground! Although there are none of these on the top, I don't feel that the charger needs them as my tablet doesn't move at all when in place.Finally, this charges my nexus 7 as a reasonable speed, considering the large battery it contains. When I first charged my device with this, it took around 4 hours to fully charge. This is very good as my tablet has no charge in at the beginning and has a large battery, meaning that it would be considerably faster for a phone or smaller tablet. I am very pleased with this.Overall, this wireless charger is very efficient and is a bargain at the price it's at now! I recommend this to anyone searching for this type of item and

I needed a wireless charger because I got sweat in the phone's micro USB port and now the phone "detects moisture in the USB port" even though it's fully dried out. Something to do with residual salt absorbing moisture from the atmosphere very easily, I think.I find this wireless charger very easy to use. It's not particularly sensitive to positioning of the phone and charges reasonably quickly using the fast charger supplied with my Samsung S7. I haven't tried it with USB yet.Charging may not be quite as fast as when directly connecting the fast charger to the phone's micro USB port, but with a phone on a 2 year contract I need to treat the battery more kindly to get the longevity out if it.Charging may be slightly slower too due to the gap between phone and charger introduced by the phone case I'm using, but I see this slowing down as beneficial for reasons of battery longevity as already mentioned. I can take the case off if I want to optimize charging speed.The charger doesn't support the entire phone like the ones that are designed like a cradle, and it can be awkward operating the phone while it's on the charger, but I'm getting better at that, and I value the slim design and portability above the slight inconvenience of the phone rocking when trying to use it.I haven't tried the standard Samsung wireless charger but this one is much less money and works perfectly, so I would have no hestitation in recommending it.

I was originally disappointed with this product as it seemed to charge my iPhone 8 a lot slower than other similarly priced wireless chargers. However, after using a longer micro USB cable that I had lying around it now seems to be charging a lot faster. The only thing I don't like is that it has a bright blue light when your phone is charging, which can be very distracting if your phone is charging whilst you are trying to sleep.I would recommend this; it's great for the price. Only thing I would say is if you are able to buy a higher quality cable to plug it in then it's definitely worth it.

UPDATED: Fair quality for the price. Charges my Samsung considerably more slowly than plugging it in, and emits a fairly bright light that makes it unsuitable (for me) to use next to the bed.Excellent customer service from JEDIRECT. Following my feedback (above), I was contacted by the company and given an unsolicited 50% refund. There was no requirement on them to do this, and I wouldn't have expected it (hence not asking). I feel I should qualify my review by saying that the charging pad works well, just (for me, anyway) not as quickly as plugging it in. This isn't necessarily a problem (e.g. for overnight charging or a top-up during the day). Likewise the blue light is too bright for me to have in the bedroom at night, but others might not find it as obtrusive.
