Excellent product
Very good quality sealant. Used before and always works well. Seems very resistant to blackening from mould.

Quality sealant
Good quality sealant. Usually purchase from Screwfix or some other highstreet chain but thought I'd check Amazon for quick delivery. This sealant has a nice smooth consistency but isn't too thin. It's just thick enough to get a good even bead all the way along. Dried pure white with no flaking around the edges. Will probably purchase again when needed.TIPS:• Ensure surface is CLEAN & DRY.• Ensure surface is free from any previous sealant, rust, glue, flaking paint etc.• Don't cut the threaded cap too far down (just a quick slice at the top with a razor will do).• This particular sealant doesn't require you to cut the applicator nozzle (although some might still cut at an angle like a syringe to apply it better).• Use a sealant gun that works properly - expensive doesn't mean good. My metal CK gun has lasted years & it was about £5.• Apply at an agle - 45 degrees should do.• Don't stop applying the sealant until you've got an even bead all the way along.• Don't apply too much - the bead of sealant should be about 5mm thick.• Just use your finger to apply a little pressure to smooth it off in one direction. Don't worry about getting it on your hand as it'll come off easy.• Always have a roll of tissue paper nearby.• Remember to PRESS THE RELEASE BUTTON on your sealant gun when you've stopped using it. It's usually a little lever at the rear above the handle. Press it to relieve the pressure so sealant doesn't continue to squirt out.• Do not touch it or get it wet until it's fully dry. Usually about 24 hours. That's probably the best advice I can give novices. The rest will just come with trial & error.

Easily the best sealant range money can buy, last long, remains white. You simply cannot buy better!
Countless times we've purchased this very sealant and brand, this after 1st being recommended on a well know DIY site, this time around it's for a bath and new shower.Yes, we've tried and tested other brands - but for us/many this is easily the best available, coupled with it being the best sealant seller, that's also incredibly highly rated, on a well know trade type site, simply because it is the best! The white stays white much longer than any other competitive product, and why this is the only one we'll buy. Plus the sealant does exactly what it should, we've never had much problems with mould etc. and it's easy to clean.Tip: Make sure you know how to use, even though it looks simple to apply: it certainly is not.So, our idea was to first have a little practiced - then attempt a kitchen, of which after nigh on 5 years: it's still going strong. Happily and proudly as a very good job done, and the sealant actually looked good by finishing off our tiling nicely, and hence how they say practice makes perfect, this really helped tweak our technique. Since it's all over our property(s), when ever sealant needs replaced - this is always applied.Simply the best sealant range money can buy, and it's cheap!

Still white after months!
I ripped out all of my old mouldy seal and replaced it with this one and its still white! You do need to fully clean and scrape off ALL of the old seal first. Let the whole bathroom tray dry out for at least 2 days and then clean off with WD40 spray. Then apply the new seal finishing it off with an angle apply tool. DONT LICK YOUR FINGER AND SMOOTH OFF! This will put bacteria on the fresh new seal from your spit (eww) and will eventually cause mould! Use fresh water if you need to. Give it at least 2 days to dry then use. I personally didn't use that shower for a week during this period of taking out the old and fitting the new. The effort comes in the preparation. This is not a quick 2 hour job! Take your time and you will fit a nice white no mouldy seal which will stand the test of time. I can confidently say that we have no mould what so ever on our shower seal after using this product after 2 months and counting.
