The BEST for aggressive chewing, helps with overall energy level in puppies and is safe.
My puppy is a large dog mix and an agressive chewer especially if she hasn't had a lot of exercise in any given day. She chews these coffee tree hunks for at least an hour a day and loves them, and so do I. Sometimes I keep it from her for certain times of the day when I need her to behave and be occupied! These are a dog/pup Mom's best friend for con calls.

My dogs' favorite.
I really like these. My dogs love to chew wood (or anything!). I have never had a problem with them splintering. The only thing is that my dogs love them SO much, I have to occasionally put them up, to make them last longer. Their favorite "toy".

It's wood; expect pieces and smells
Fine chew. My Boston Terrier is constantly bringing in sticks and leaving wood "confetti" all over the house. I chose the large size in hopes he'd have to really work to get pieces off. He had slivers off in minutes, but he doesn't eat the debris so I think it'll be a good chew for him. If your dog eats every bit that comes off a chew, this is definitely NOT a chew for you. Oh, and if you're extra sensitive to smells, be warned, it smells like manure.

Durability
They help puppies who like to chew wood and in the past these have held up very well but one of the three I purchased this time broke the very first time my dog started chewing on it. Hope it was just a fluke!

Lasted 2 Years!
I bought this for my strong chewer. First of all, I ALWAYS supervise my dog while he chews his bones, and I never leave him unattended for even a few minutes. This chew is basically a large chunk of wood. It is great for any dog (like mine) who loves to chew on sticks. It is essentially a large, clean, scented stick for your dog.Pros:- My picky dog especially enjoyed this gorilla chew compared to his elk antlers, beef bones, and nylabones. He would lose interest in the others after a few weeks or even days. However, he worked on this gorilla chew on-and-off for almost 2 years before it eventually disintegrated.- This chew has a very pleasant smell. The beef bones and bully sticks smell bad and leave a bit of an oily mess, while also potentially upsetting a sensitive dog's stomach.- The wood softens under my dog's teeth, which reduces the risk of a broken tooth, unlike the antlers which are very hard and sometimes leave my dog with bloody gums.Cons:- Small, sharp pieces will frequently break off of the wood. This is the biggest con. Like I said, I always supervise my dog, so this is not a problem for me. However, bear in mind that this is not something you leave in the crate with your dog while you go to work. At the same time, you should supervise your dog with all chews anyway. I always make sure my dog spits out the big pieces that he ripped off, and I also pick up the small "crumbs" of wood that get scattered on the ground. Overall, this chew doesn't hold together as well as a nylabone, which I have rarely (only a handful of times) seen any pieces break off. In the end, after almost 2 years of heavy chewing, bigger and bigger chunks fell off until the wood was too small to chew safely anymore. To me, the pros of my dog's enjoyment outweigh the cons of me having to watch him like a hawk. I would recommend this chew.

Medium is HUGE
I ordered a medium size bone for my 7 month old puppy since the small size was getting too small for her. This bone is HUGE. There is no way she can get her mouth around it. There is a "no return" policy on this item so I guess I'll have to donate to dog shelter

Perry loves it, but more so when their knobby.
My dog loves these. Sometimes they’re like a straight stick-not good-and other times they’re knobby-great! Please deliver what you show- knobby!

a fave!
trying to find a long-lasting chew that my pup will enjoy, isn't a choking hazard, and - a bonus - isn't from the most random part of an animal (trachea??), has become quite a task. She used to love the yak milk bones but has grown bored of them (such a princess), doesn't like nyla-type bones, and offering her the genetalia of a bull? not an option. Anyway, this little gem ticks all the boxes: she loves it and it is definitely long-lasting. she gnaws away on this hunk of wood while I'm stuck in a zoom. it's a great size for her (she's 35-40 lb), safe, doesn't stain rugs, natural... fantastic! highly recommend this one.

Completely different than what my friend received for the same product, lots of shards, dangerous
I bought this item because a friend had one and it seemed really good. He sent me the same link he used but what I received was about a quarter of the size that he received. The wood seems decent but it only took a few minutes until the shards started breaking off and I had to take it away.Complete waste of money and time. Seems like you have to gamble on the seller to get a decent product.EDIT: I took the toy away because of all the splinters, my dog keeps coughing now. This should not be sold on amazon, and to make matters worse, they don't allow returns or refunds. stay away from this product IMO.

Cover it with Peanut Butter
Came with a crack that splintered and had to be filed down. If you’re struggling with your dog not being interested, try smearing on a thin layer of peanut butter and freezing it. the peanut butter soaks in and the wood will taste and smell like it after the peanut butter had been licked off. Overall pretty good product and seems to be holding up well.

HORRIBLE
Just received it today and my dog has it almost destroyed. It says it does not splinter but it splinters bad. I took a 6 “ splinter away from my dog. Nowhere does it say you cant return so I have two for the garbage I guess.Shows how you stand behind your product

Messy Messy Messy
My super chewer dog really loves this and it's quite large for the money but it's wildly messy, sawdust everywhere. As messy as just letting him chew on a stick. It's quickly become and outdoors only toy, which is kind of a waste because he has lots of sticks to chew on outside. something to consider before you buy, but nothing wrong with the product itself.

Fell Apart
I have a 6 month old border collie who loves to chew. We've had good luck with gorilla chews in the past but within 5 minutes of having this toy my dog chewed it apart with a big chunk of wood all over the ground. Beyond that, it stinks too. Wish we could return it.
