Very Legible
Like the plain etching for the scale easy to read!!

Brand new and the paint is fading.
I received this today. I took it out of the package and thought that it is a nice sturdy little pocket ruler. But then I noticed that the black finish was dull and faded. Now, I haven't even used it yet. There should not be any wear. If I rubbed it, my fingers got a black residue on them. I washed it off and the water dripping off was black. Now the finish is quite dull and continue's to wear. I feel that It is very poorly finished and I question it's durability. I was going to get other Benchmark products but now, I don't think I will. Very disappointing.
