HP Laserjet Enterprise M609dn Duplex Printer with One-Year, Next-Business Day, Onsite Warranty (K0Q21A)

Arrived with toner all over the toner tray and interior - clearly already heavily used.Unable to print consistently - gives spurious 'paper size mismatch' errors even though paper does match selected US letter size and paper guides in tray are tight - I suspect the rollers are not working right or something. Seems to be no way to work around this other than power cycling each time.I have another M509 which has been working great for several years. This is very disappointing. Let's see if the onsite warranty is real...

Advertised as 75 pages per minute. Now that sounds fast. But what it doesn't advertise is that it take a few minutes to print the first page. Something like 28 steps it needs to go through before it is ready to print. Once it starts printing it will pause leaving you with the thought it is done. Then it will print up a few more pages leaving you again to think the same. It will hiccup with this during print jobs. We have had other HP printers that can print one job after another without a delay yet this printer takes the cake for stopping to catch its breath during print jobs. We have had the printer warranty called on before and thought that after it was tuned up it would be better but it wasn't. If you don't mind the delays and pauses a printer can do this printer may be for you because when it does print it is quick. For me I just hate returning things and am annoyed by the delay on this newer machine and the constant pauses. I have an old HP LaserJet 5 still in use that is more predictable than this machine that seems to have its own mind.
