Vietnamese Ice coffee!!!
It’s the twist one so it press the Vietnamese coffee very good. Takes the water to slowly drip which is really good for Vietnamese coffee. Best product for making Vietnamese coffee.

What, NO directions or information in the box?
Love my new coffee pot but it was just in a box, no instructions but it was surely made well.

Solidly made phin, a cut above the standard issue
Most of these ‘Vietnamese coffee infusers’ are cheaply made, tinny little things. This one is made of heavier gauge metal, has a snug-fitting cap and will rest securely atop a heat-proof glass or mug when making coffee ‘the Vietnamese way.’ I ground a couple tablespoons of Vietnamese dark roast beans relatively coarse using a Hario hand grinder and got the typical 5 minute ‘drip’ using this phin, with virtually no ‘fines’ mucking up the resulting brew, which was suitably strong. One of the reviewers has noted this is made in China, making it somehow ‘fake.’ The design is the same, it functions in the same way, so I’m not quite clear in what way it is not a ‘Vietnamese coffee infuser’ or ‘phin’ as advertised. That’s like saying a ‘French press’ coffee pot is ‘fake’ if it is manufactured anywhere but in France. Which is of course utter nonsense. There are phins available for a fraction of the price of this one. They are tinny little things, they work but feel pretty flimsy and always seem a bit precarious when perched atop the vessel receiving the brew. So if you want a phin that has some heft, made of nicely polished, heavy gauge steel, with a substantial handle you can use to grip when using and cleaning it - this is a good choice.

Nice filter
It doesn’t have the logo as advertised but overall it looks nice.
