I'm glad I bought these, I'd read a lot of reviews but still couldn't tell 100% if these were solid enough and fit well my truck. They did, let me first off confirm details:These fit a 2013 Dodge Ram SLT.These are heavy and solid enough to hold a large kayak very well and work great for it.They're solid, you can grab them and shake them around hard enough to rock the suspension back and forth pretty well, with no give in the rack (once mounted well).They're heavy, you know how when there's nothing in the bed, you want to put some weight in there to help keep your tires on the ground? You'll need less or no weight now. There's a slight difference in how the truck drives once these are on.Road noise: I didn't notice a single difference. Once you have kayaks and/or cargo straps on it sure, but until then, with just the racks, the airflow isn't impeded at all. This was a very pleasant surprise.I really didn't want to drill, but the clamps work well and also seem to have leeway to adjust. Could maybe stick out a little in the bed if the lip on your bed isn't deep, so check measurements, but on the RAM 1500 for 2013 it sure is. It mounts smoothly, no big surprises or tricks to it, the clamps are big and heavy and solid. The bolts are as well, they're big and brass and maybe stand out a little if you care about that sort of thing.Those noting the thin, easy-to-scrape off powder cote on the racks were on the money, my kayak's scraped these metal bars more than its scraped my kayak, but I can re-spray if I start to care, so that's not impacting my review/score. If you're in coastal areas and/or parking outside you'll want to weight that differently.

Rack is very well designed and manufactured BUT company is unresponsive to requests for missing parts.I bought it for a Ford Maverick and it fits fine except that it is a bit tall for a small pickup. I cut about 8” off the verticals and it now is perfect. I don’t notice any driving noise even at highway speeds+.

Paid 140 $. Powder coat was nice. instructions were.... Adequate. I'm no master anything but I have some years in the trades. Install took about 45 minutes. Only negative observation; there were little metal shards on the bolts. Thread them a few times in your hands before you start to assemble so as to not strip.22 frontier. Fits nice. Absolutely recommend!

Installed on a 2024 Ford Maverick. not an eyesore fits the truck, got compliments on it. Sturdy, Quality and build is confidence inspired just hauled four 2x10x16’s with ease. Under an hour to install

I'm a handyman and I use my rack all the time. I would say this rack is ok. The front support is not well supported and has a lot of play. But I have had some Farley heavy loads on it and it holds.

I have installed many ladder racks on various trucks throughout the years. This was the most easiest installation by far. Took me 45 minutes. Would’ve took 20-30 minutes if I wasn’t distracted with phone messages. The materials seem very rigid, strong and weather resistant. Have not set anything on it yet, but it supposed to be able to hold 1000 lbs. have yet to see that. And have yet to test it to the Wisconsin winters and salt. The only think that’s a little strange is the height of posts. Makes my 7 foot high truck with the clearance lights, now about 8 feet high or more. Will put this rack to the test and come back for another review.

Fast shipping and works great for my ladders, walkboards, metal brake, and longer materials. Easy installation. Was able to keep my chrome mounted in bed tool box with this item as well.
