Charly Antolini can superimpose such complex rhythms that it's sometimes hard to believe that you are only listening to one drummer. Nevertheless, a swinging rhythm is an absolute must for him, and his guiding principle is, as he says himself, to express something with every beat. With the international line-up of his Jazz Power project at the 2002 Hot Jazz Festival, he triumphantly proved once again that he is one of the best drummers in the world.
