Lovely electric scooter for the wife ,not to fast(25) ,and brilliant service from seller.

Bought this bike and the battery only lasts 3 months.You are absolutely wasting your time and money on thinking about buying one from this seller.They must be aware as another two negative comments have been written and they are still selling them.They asked me to return the battery.How dangerous would that be. I certainly wasn't going to poke around the battery and stated they would repair if they found a fault obviously there is as it no longer works.I have had three bikes from this company.The first had no bike pole.They sent one out that didn't fit,sent another one that didn't fit.Bike was returned and I asked for another.Completely different bike was sent and now only 3 months of use it this one does not work at all.Amazon is aware of the negative reviews and still letting the company sell.My advice try a completely different company.They must know exactly what is going on with 3 reviews with the same only works 3 months.Shocking company

I bought this scooter in 2023 as diagnosed with ME & can’t drive but have ridden a bike.It’s heavy, but does collapse down.Using it was quite easy, with a throttle on right, but take care first few attempts as it’s sensitive, as my friend discovered on her try.I bought a motorcycle helmet & hi vis jacket + clip on indicators, & as it had a seat I ride it as an electric bike on roads, along canal paths, or slowly as a mobility scooter on pavement cycle paths, responibly.After a year in Uk the drawbacks are:- not waterproof, battery runs low in colder/winter months. The speed screen is illegible in light. It is quite heavy/sturdy so lifting up more than a step or into a car may be challenging. It does go up some gradual inclines but at a +walk pace. It would be unreasonable to expect more at this point in tech development & legislation.Good points:- Footplate is wider than most. With key ignition no app/mobile needed which is great if your phone runs out of charge. The double disc breaks are great & head/rear lights work a treat. The seat can be removed easily, helps with centre of gravity/balance issues with stand only scooters, & the carry basket has come in v handy even though small. (It can also be removed.)There is an audible bell included & a kick stand.Am hoping to be able to replace battery unit as the footplate looks to have Allen key screws where it’s contained.I might try to make a Velcro waterproof jacket for footplate & silicone seal where wires come out of tubes once warranty expires, as a low income person this is my necessary invested transport.Cheaper than a mobility scooter, when ridden responsibly, it’s a decent purchase that has helped me not be isolated on drier days.I do work out flattest routes on outings though. & recommend checking weight bearing as that will affect efficiency.Worth the purchase in my circumstances. With your personal considerations in mind, I would recommend this, but only in drier times, & keep in home, a garage is too cold for battery maintenance/consistancy.
