Some people say that you can drive with this brace. Is this is possible, and is there anyway to press down past 90 degrees when dorsiflexing the ankle

I've had this brace for 5 years (right foot) and I drive daily with it. It's the only AFO brace that's worked for me because it allows for ankle flexion.

Will this brace not allow me to walk up on the ball of my foot? That's what I need--to walk heal--toe or flat footed.

This brace does allow for a natural gait pattern of heel strike followed by the rest of the foot. Our 3/4 length foot plate allows the front of the foot to bend as you walk. Would this help someone that needs to squat and bend a lot? Like a construction worker?

If you mean is this Drop Foot Brace better than others for someone who has to bend and crouch a lot, the answer is yes. The reason being is that the brace itself is much shorter than many conventional drop foot braces which come up just below the knee and can cause pinch or obstruction to a crouch or squat position.
