Hafele Synergy Elite 14 1/8" Valet Closet Rod For Clothes Hangers and Hanging Garment Bags (Polished Chrome Finish)

I had been watching You Tube videos on closet makeovers during COVID lockdown in an attempt to addressed all my closet issues. Most of the suggestions were not feasible for my closet. But his seemed doable if possibly unnecessary. It has become essential. So handy and completely out of the way when not in use. I'm glad I did but I totally had a handy man install it. No instructions but if you look at answered questions there is a youtube link on how to do it. I just lucked out and someone there doing something else.

I had my closets all redone and had custom shelves and drawers installed. In the master they installed this same valet rod. It looks great and it’s very strong and easy to telescope out. I opted for this over the other ones that are a chrome rod with a round ball on the end because I feel it keeps hangars on better and also because I already knew it was rock solid. I have 6 pairs of jeans that hang from the cuff of the pant leg because I couldn’t use that style of hangar anywhere else in the spare closet. This holds them no problem at all. I’m sure I can put several more pairs of jeans on it with no problem. It’s very sturdy and nice looking.

haven't gotten around installing it yet, but it seems easy, sturdy and with storage capacity as advertised. The important part is that it did NOT come with a cap for the back end of the system. Gladly I got the 14" one which goes all the way to the back of my closet partition and it won't snag on my clothes. The back part is sharp, so you should either get the size that fits your installation, or get creative and do a silicon bead or cheap it out by using tape. Would have expected that detail to be covered by Hafele.

What is nice is that the back of the mount comes with a selection of holes that align nicely with the holes in the closet wall. And the screws accompanying the mount fit the closet wall holes precisely. That makes installation a breeze. There is one problem though. The written instructions don’t tell you how to dissemble the system so that you can put in the screws. There is a plastic clip inside the back of the mount that you have to push in, in order for it to release the rod from the mount. Only then can you get to the screw holes.

I previously had a company come out to install custom shelving for my laundry area. I initially only ordered 1 valet rod and I was content. Later down the line, I called them back an inquired to order another valet rod and no one returned my call since it was not a new project install is my assumption. No problem, I went to Amazon …. And whoop, there she is. I got the job done. Exactly the same rod

I was doing a rebuild of my closet and added this into the closet to steam my shirts. Works very well. My only concern is overtime how does the fit stay in place so its not to loose.

This is the best little gadget ever. You’re supposed to pull it out when you’re figuring out what outfit to wear. Mine is out all the time. You won’t be disappointed. Love looking ve.

Installed in our master closet. A little larger than expected and could slide a little smoother, but they look good and work as intended. Recommend.
