The screws near the gear changer are too long; however, the screws to attach the rods at the top are the same thread size and shorter. I moved several of the "top" screws closer to the wheel gear set, and there is no chance of interfering. The top area now has longer threads, but there is nothing to touch to bottom out, so everything is as tight as necessary.Once assembled in place, I held the bike while a man about 80 kg sat on this rack. There was no movement whatsoever. I don't know if it will hold its rated capacity, but 80kg is enough for my needs.Assembly wasn't difficult. That is not to say it was easy. It took the two of us less than 30 minutes from start to finish. It looks pretty good, and almost like it came with the bicycle. I have another custom-made rear rack for a different ebike. The other rack is welded and looks a bit more professional, but it cost 3x as much. I wish I had purchased this rack for both ebikes.If you are looking for a strong rear rack, this item fits the bill.

This should hold anything but I think I need to keep an eye on the screws holding the telescopic legs in place in case they come loose. Was missing some of the rubber grips which was annoying but used old inner tube to do the job but not very neat

This is a great sturdy and quality bike rack. The rack is supposed to hold up to 300lbs, I haven't tested that but I have tested 210lbs with no issues. Shipping was fast. No missing pieces but there's is a huge BUT to buying this rack. The instructions are little to none. This is the second rack, but the first time I attempted to put this rack together I was ready to throw it away. They do give tools but it's best to use your own tools for easier install. It will take time and patience. Overall I'm really happy with the product.
