Works great with Square Register
Using it with a Square Stand and a portable tablet, set up was easy, works perfectly. We are using it with a TP-Link Powerline Adapter AV200 model so we can put it anywhere there is power in our facility. The Square software saw it immediately and printing works great. If both stations try to print at the same time, one is buffered in the printer until the first one has finished.

Automatic detection on Android Devices.
This is recommended by Square as a Network Printer and they did not disappoint. Works the way it should and has the RJ14 socket for a Cash Drawer that works also. Installs on Windows based systems.

Great easy to use printer, but...
The printer works great with my Samsung Galaxy tab and it's wireless which saves on space. Use only the ethernet cable that Star sells though. When I ordered the one that Amazon recommended, it was the wrong type.

Doesn't work with Square POS

GREAT RECEIPT PRINTER. I BOUGHT THIS TO PUT IT ON STORE NETWORK SO IF WE START TO USE TABLET WE CAN PRINT RECEIPTS.

It's perfect to use with the Square Register
I use this with my iPad Square Register system at my boutique and it works really well for those customers that want receipts.
