My son wanted something like this from the LeGO store at the mall. But that one costs WAY TOO MUCH MONEY! so I was very glad to find these. They are not the same designs as the Lego brand 100% but my son could not tell the difference. And he did not care that this was not Lego brand.Some reviewers said that their kids were frustrated or that it took an adult a long time to put it together.I did NOT have the same experience. My 6 Yr old son LOVES IT! He had no problem at all to put this car together. It took him a few hours to put it together. But that was what I wanted! I did not want to get a toy that my kids would only be entertained for 30-60min. My son did not want to watch TV or play video games when he had this kit to put together! A win-win for us! We love it so much that I bought several more kits from the same manufacturer after the first one. Now all of his friends want their parents to get it for them!The cons: you only get enough parts to make 1 design. So if you want to make the 2nd design, you would have to take the pieces apart. The pieces do not come apart easily. And yes, you might risk some pieces to break or deformed in the process of taking the design apart. So my recommendation is for you to buy 2 kits if you want to make the 2nd design. It’s cheaper than the Lego brand anyways.Also you might want to have pliers on hand to make taking the pieces apart easier if you accidentally put the wrong pieces together.Other than the 2 issues, we love this kit.And despite the cons, my son would still give this kit a perfect 5/5 ⭐️ Stars!

My seven year old loved putting this together. He had it built in less than two days. It has held up well since.

I bought this for my 8 year old and 6 year old boys, one each. Both products say age suggestion 6+, 457pcs. Thinking that one through a little more, 457pcs says it all. It’s not 6+. Don’t let my pictures deceive you, it can get complicated. My 8 year old is in 3rd grade, placing well above everyone in his class in almost all subjects, and he struggles to get anywhere with this. It’s not like a Lego set where you start with one bag, build your sectors then move on. There are four bags total, and pieces are bagged based on component size. I’m 33 years old, with lots of experience building things. I am roughly 3 hours into the build for my son, without assistance, and sit at step 72/123. It took roughly 1hr from steps 1-25 and roughly 1.5hrs from 25-73. I likely have 1-1.5hrs left based on what I see left. My opinion and take this at face value, the STEM build for this toy is likely more appropriate for 12+ rather than 6+. If your kid loves to sit through hours of building(4-4.5hrs total), or you yourself, this is perfect for you. Otherwise, as a parent, I hope you enjoy your build (wink face).

THIS CAR WAS A WONDERFUL GIFT FOR THE GRANDKIDS. HOWEVER THE AGE RANGE SHOULD BE 9 AND UP. THERE ARE A LOT OF TINY PARTS AND YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS TO A T.

Got this for our grandson since he loves putting cars and truck kits together.Great toy.

I bought this for my 10 year old grandson. The description does not state that this is for older kids. When he opened the box, I was shocked at the number of pieces and just how small they were. He gave it a good try, but became frustrated and gave up. My 14 year old grandson had a fun time putting it together. It was challenging for him, and he liked that.Would recommend for an older child.
