This is an update to a review that follows below, where i started trying to make the candles only to discover there were no wicks. The company, Natures Blossom did send out another complete kit that had all the promised items, so they did make things right with me. I did not request a whole new kit, just what was missing, but it seems that most companies just find it easier to send out entire units, so i can't complain about extra items! What keeps this from being a 5 star product is that the scents are a little faint, and the kit as a whole is probably over priced by about $10. But it makes a cute gift for the crafty types.Got around to trying to make the candles and discovered that there are no wicks in the "goodie" bag. No a complete kit if one very important item is missing. will update the review based on how the company handles this. Mistakes happen, but missing the most crucial element is mind-boggling. Cute packaging but unusable right now.

Final Update: I just received my new kit with everything in it and a 50% off coupon as well as cork bottoms to prevent over heating of the bottom surface of the tin. Their customer service was on point. By the way I was supposed to receive the new kit on Friday...it's Wednesday! Bumping my 4start review to a 5star.Update: I emailed the company and let them know the issue on a Saturday night not expecting a response until Mon or Tues. I received a response that night and was offered to have a new kit sent to me. I am changing my rating from a 3star to a 4star for their customer service. Will keep you updated.I opened my box and received 3 tins for the candle, 3 bags of wax flakes, 3 scents, glue dots, and craft sticks. I am however missing my wicks. So once they send me that I will be ready to start. Am pretty excited.

I did like the candle making kit, however, there were a few important pieces of info that they forget to mention.-the pouring pot floats in the water when you try to double boil-there's no mention of a thermometer until you are near the end of the instructions-they do no provide a wooden spoon for stirring, so you have to have something else on hand-you need to press the sticky pads hard down onto the bottom of the candle container or they float up when you pour the wax in-they should suggest a tray to carry the completed 'wet' candles out of your kitchen (b/c that's where most people would make this). the tin foil or parchment paper they suggest is a waste of time.-the scents are strong when they are heated, so suggest a small fan or good ventilation when making these as they could cause a migraine in come people-there is no indication of burn time when candles are completeOverall, this product was good. I now have the materials to make more candles, just need to get more wax and stems and scent. So, most likely, I will use what I have now to continue making candles.

This is definitely a premium kit, right away you notice the extra love and care that was put into it. It comes in its own little box, and all supplies are very good quality and neatly organized, even the instruction manual is done in such a cute way and with so much love - not like those chinese sterotype manuals.Everything is laid out, separated, and explained step by step so that even the complete amateur can make 3 beautiful candles.I am just not giving it a 5 star because I think it's a bit pricey, considering I can buy 3 ready made candles just like that for less the price.I also wish they'd include a thermometer, especially because on the instructions they suggest to use one. I didn't have a thermometer so i felt the kit wasn't complete without it.Other than that, if you want to make your own candle, as opposed to buying it, this is definitely it.Great quality products, including pot, wax, scents, which by the way, smell heavenly!!

I’m still not sure why but I decided to host a framily craft during the holidays and decided to go with a trusted craft I’ve never tried before ... again, still not sure why. However, this kit was a treasure find and made the entire process so SO much easier, which didn’t hurt the boost in fun. It’s a great starter kit to familiarize with the craft; it will take a lot, if not all, the trepidation and guesswork out for the leery but curious. The melting pot is superior to others I purchased in the lead up to craft day. I hid the Chamomile and Sage scent from availability; mine! It provides a great template of what you’ll want or need to make additional candles. The melting pot, scents, wicks, & some soy wax melted with your curiosity and you’ll have a fun, easy craft with an enviable candle to show for it!

Great kit for first timers. The wax comes pre measured in individual bags and everything you need is in this kit. You do have to put the wax pot into your own larger pot with simmering water so as not to melt the wax to fast. Also recommend having a candy thermometer because you want to add the fragrance oil between 180 and 190 degrees. This was so fun, so educational, and SUCH a great price for everything you get.

The kit is well packed and includes everything you need for making the candles. The pot came smaller than expected, but it works just perfect for the 8oz size of candle. I like that the seller includes a pat to stick to the bottom of the tin to avoid burning the surface, except I had quite a bit of trouble ripping off the sticker off.The oils smell really strong before pouring into the wax, but when the candle is dry, they smell wonderful.Haven't light and use the candles yet, but will try later and see if the fragrance comes out just as fine.

This was a fun activity and even though our first package was not complete we emailed customer support and they immediately shipped us a new one. Candles smell great!

The kit was great, bought it for my wife. Upon reading the instructions it came with. You need to use the WHOLE bottle of scent for one candle. We have figured out natural ways to scent them, example: cinnamon, vanilla, we even made a nice coffee vanilla one, our natrual scents seem to be better than the ones provided.We have even used crayons, as dye. So save your money on expensive (20$+)low quantity dyes, go to a doller store and buy crayons the colours are beautiful. (the more you add the more vibrant, even just a hint of colour can be very pretty, especially with some flowers. Its a good kit, but its not necessary.Essentially all you need is wax, the rest could be obtained from house hold items. I was dissapointed with the popsicle sticks as wick holders, other kits come with proper ones. All in all, good kit for a gift. Again you only need wax, all items could be obtained cheaper, our you already have!

I purchased this product this weekend. Product is as shown. Easy to prepare. Great instructions. Arrived next day. Scent is definitely strong. I would give this product a five star except the scents are terrible! If you buy this product (and I do encourage people to buy it) I beg of you to purchase the scent from somewhere else. I got the lavender, chamomile and lemon versions. They smell really soapy and artificial. The smell is so strong that you can literally taste it. It actually penetrated my pasta I made this evening - yuck! Such a shame because otherwise it is a great product.

I LOVED this product! Everything you need is in this candle making kit, including easy to follow, foolproof, clear instructions. Definitely made my experience so much better. It was my first candle making kit and made 3 beautifully scented candles. They smelled amazing - were so delicately scented. I loved that they were vegetable soy based and the wicks were lead free. Burned beautifully, were long lasting, and so pretty! Would unquestionably recommend this kit!

I loved all of the scents. The instructions say to use the entire bottle of essential oil for each candle/scent, but I only used half and found it to be the perfect strength. I have friends with scent sensitivities who have raved about the scent of the candles and how nice it was not to react to the lit candle - I am in agreeance.I received a coupon with my order and when contacting the manufacturers, they were prompt with their responses and extremely helpful.I would recommend to anyone - beginner or not.

Love this kit. Bought it for my sister who was wanting to get into candle making. The tins are a perfect starter size and the oils are AMAZING. There are no wax dyes in the kit but its an excellent beginner kit and the quality is awesome. I just wish I could find the essential oil scents from the kit separately as I would love to purchase more. They are incredible. I purchased a kit for her rather then buying all the separate supplies as I wanted her to see if it is something she enjoyed doing first. This kit was the perfect fit for that.
