The lights themselves are fine but there a label silkscreened on the side of the bulb that is very obvious and can't be removed. The whole point of these bulbs is that they are traditional and are meant to be exposed so having a logo and a bunch of text on the side is annoying. The label is not pictured in the photos so it's very deceptive that the product you are getting is not what is shown.Update: you can rub off the printing with some rubbing alcohol and elbow grease.

These are just the right color and brightness for most home light fixtures. They're the same color as other "soft white" LED bulbs I've purchased. I put these in several fixtures, including two light fixtures in my hallway that have clear glass shades (open on the bottom) and two pendants that have have fully enclosed clear glass shades. It's nice to have some cool looking bulbs since they're fully visible, but also nice that they're LED because the ones in the hallway require a ladder to replace, so I don't want to do it often. I've heard that it's not ideal to put LED bulbs inside a completely enclosed fixture because the transformer in the base of the bulb can get too warm and shorten the life span, but I installed these about 3 months ago and the ones in the fully enclosed fixtures are still going fine so far. There is no "warm up period" or flickering, they just come on when you flip your switch. I've put 5 of the 6 in fixtures so far, and haven't had any duds or early burnouts at 3 months. I tried the 6th in a fixture before deciding I wanted a higher wattage for that area, so I know that one works too.TLDR: great price, good quality control, works just like a normal light bulb but with the advantages of being LED

These bulbs are much larger than I expected them to be. They are about the same size as 150w incandescent bulbs. They fit in a standard medium base socket, but will not work in some closed fixtures made for 40/60w bulbs. They also seem brighter than 40w equivalents, but that may be because they are clear. I got them to go in a ceiling fan with clear open bell-shaped sockets, but they protrude and look very disproportionate. I will keep them to use in frosted open bowl ceiling fixtures because they are well constructed and bright enough to use in place of the 60w incandescent bulbs I have in them now. They arrived quickly, with no breakage, and are individually boxed for convenient storage. I deducted one star because any reference to their size was not clearly apparent. I do not have a dimmer, so how they function in that regard is not something I can comment on.

I just installed new light fixtures in my kitchen, and was unhappy with the light from the bulbs I could find at the hardware store. Went shopping on Amazon, and saw the reviews for these...... Perfect color, bright, but not daylight blue....... Not yellow. I actually just ordered a new fixture for my little dining room, so now am about to order more of these bulbs!

The lights are bright but can be dimmed to almost nothing without flickering (using Lutron Caseta P-PKG1P-WH-R). There is lettering and a logo etched on the glass of each bulb. This could be an issue in some applications though it does not bother me (I use then as patio lights). The photos of the item do not show this at all but it should. Seller should fix this as it misrepresents the item. Do not buy if you do want a completely clear bulb.

The color on these is seriously perfect. All other LED I've bought have given off to much of what I think looks like harsh fake light, even if they are labeled warm. These however, are perfect, I can't tell that they are LED. It's fantastic. And these look prettier than my other LED bulbs. These lights are now in all my living room lamps and I couldn't be happier. I did make the mistake of buying a dimmer switch not made for LED bulbs, and it caused these to flicker when dimmer, so make sure when purchasing a dimmer switch that it specifically works with LEDs. It's not the bulbs that are bad, it's the switch. Going back and looking at the dimmer packaging proved it in fact said it was only for incandescent bulbs, so I'm on the hunt for a dimmer specifically for LED bulbs.

I am a light bulb weirdo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯These are amazing:- perfect color temp- great look- they are even dimmable with an old school "incandescent only" lutron dimmer!! (need 5+ bulbs per fixture to work)I am only taking off 1 star because of very thin hairline scratches on the surface of each bulb(not visible from 3+ feet)buy them!

Arrived quickly, well-packed, and all bulbs were functional. Very attractive! The only point I would add is that these bulbs are LARGE - they stuck out of the top of one of my small desktop lamp shades (so I replaced the bulb with a different one), but work perfectly in my floor lamps. I know they are intended for non-shaded ceiling fixtures, so this issue will likely be a non-issue if you are using them in that fashion.

This Edison-style bulb combines a classic antique look upgraded with modern energy efficiency. These new lights (4W LED equal to 40W) were surprisingly brighter than our existing 15W compact fluorescent ones (equivalent to 60W). It is good practice to use gloves, paper or a lint-free cloth

I didn't realize these Edison bulbs were longer then an average bulb, but they still worked well with our light fixtures. They look nice, giving off a soft white look rather then yellow which is what I was going for. They come packaged really well so all bulbs were in perfect condition upon delivery. Very pleased!

This is a totally hipster thing but I want to switch to Edison bulbs and finally decide to splurge. These vintage looking bulbs are super pretty and give out a warm glow that is easy on the eyes. The price is reasonable for a dimmable bulb. I wasn't sure about buying something so breakable online but my worry was completely unnecessary and all bulbs came intact. Now I need to go buy more light fixtures that expose the light bulbs so that I can show them off!

Look beautiful in the mid century modern style Sputnik ceiling light that I also purchased on Amazon. Nice and clear glass and warm light that works perfect with the dimmer we had previously installed.

These are gorgeous! They give off a beautiful light and the shape of the bulbs are very nice. They were perfect for my bathroom. So happy with this purchase
