The base of leaves that make up the hooks are square shaped and the hole they are supposed to fit in (to be held by the screw) is round/oval. I am trying to find humor in fitting a square peg in a round hole, but am not amused that I have to sand or cut down the edges so they fit securely in the holes and are flush with the upright part of the stand. Luckily I have tools at home to do this, but it's a lot of work for what I paid to not have it actually be "easy to assemble." This was for an office space and am now needing to carry it home to make alterations at my own time and expense. I am worried if I don't get them to fit, the leaves are just going to be too unstable to actually hold even a sweater. Visually it is very nice and I like that it is made of bamboo.

The concept is nice and attractive. But the product came with chipped varnish and holes that are not all the way drilled through. After assembly, the finished product also leans more to one side. It is hard to adjust the rubber footing without the stand being unstable. I like the design, I'm just really disappointed with the quality.

I really love the original design - so different from anything out there. I think you get decent quality - For The Price. Mine couldn't be made to stand level, and there was a gap between where the two pieces of the pole came together that made it extremely unstable. But they were both easy enough to fix - an extra felt pad and some wood glue, and it's perfectly fine now. Considering how cheap it was, I can't complain. But I would have paid more for better quality. As other reviews have said, this came with really excellent instructions.

I bought this coat hanger a month ago in preparation for the winter time. I wanted something atypical and the design and wood material went with the theme of my dining room. I was excited for it to come in the mail, but quickly realized this product was just a waste of money. Building this coat hanger was easy, but the material is so cheap that the coat hanger stands on a slant. Every time I hang a coat on it the structure, it leans to one side so dramatically I have to move the hanger around to lean on the wall. Also when I installed the leaves, 3 broke off just from me screwing them in, and 2 more broke off a couple days after I bought it. It is the most ridiculously fragile product I have ever bought. Do not buy this coat hanger, it is just a waste of time, and you will end up having to order something else after a week.

Five stars. One of the leaf hooks cracked and broke when too much weight was put on it, but there was an extra leaf in the box with the parts. Super easy assembly - no fuss whatever. Used a ratcheting screwdriver rather than tool supplied, but that tool would have eventually gotten the job done right.

It's pretty to look at but don't try to hang a coat on it. The leaves snap right off. We're now down to 4 leaves. I will be returning this coat rack unfortunately because I really liked it.
