Glycolic Facial Moisturizer Face Cream 2oz Alpha Hydroxy Acid Multi-Fruit Acids

I have been unable to use AHA products in the past because they cause too much skin irritation. This product delivers AHA gently without irritation. It also smells nice (clean smell, not perfume) and moisturizes well. It contains no bad ingredients such as paraben, which is very important to me.

This is a great night time cream. If you have dry skin or sensitive skin, I would add another layer of a more hydrating moisturizing cream on top of this cream. Because AHA’s can feel slightly irritating on the screen due to the active fruit acid ingredients.. My skin complexion is visibly smoother and clearer after using this product.

This review is tough for me because I like the emollience of this cream (rich, but not too greasy for me), and the fact that it's an AHA (alpha hydroxy acid that peels the skin with sugary fruit extracts). I don't have many AHA products --- more retinol, gycolic acid, and Vitamin C skincare, so this would be a nice addition. I'm not sure what the original consistency of this producet was supposed to be, since the UPS truck was hot enough to liquify the cream in the jar and the pressure buildup exploded when I opened it. It was pure runny liquid, until I put it in the fridge for a couple hours to reset. Now it's more the consistency of cooked pudding just as it begins to thicken on the stove -- a little thick, but runny. If you already have the product, you can compare what you have to my description.At any rate, as it is, I like the creamy emollience of it, and it looks great on the skin. Very smooth. I also commend the company for using organic and natural ingredients. However, I'm allergic to soy products and willow bark, which I hadn't noticed in the ingredient list before ordering. But even the allergy issue wouldn't matter because of the strong chemical smell that I find irritating. I intend to use it on my hands if I can, or even on my feet at night with socks for extra softening/conditioning. As for on my face, that's a no-go. So I can't comment on the effectiveness of the AHA.

Smells lemony and is very moisturizing when applied to dry skin. The only con would be that it feels slightly oily when you don’t have dry skin. There is a nice amount of product and it has a nice pump.

The consistency is light-weight and smooth. Product has a pleasant scent. It seems to be reducing the appearance of fine lines, but I haven't used it long enough to tell for sure.

Nothing special, kind of oily...

The AHA Moisturizer Facial Cream is very light and easy to spread. It feels very nice on my face. As a moisturizer, it works very well.That it works so nicely should not be a surprise. Its list of ingredients is impressive. The list includes: Organic Aloe Leaf Juice, Organic Coconut Oil, Apricot Kernel Oil, Glycerin, Emulsifying Wax, Stearic Acid, Vitamin E, Sunflower Seed Oil, Phenoxyethanol, Glycolic Acid, Tartaric Acid, Malic Acid, Organic Shea Butter, Mango Seed Butter, Organic Sugar Cane Extract, Organic Bilberry Fruit Extract, Organic Sugar Maple Extract, Organic Orange Peel Extract, Organic Lemon Peel Extract, Organic Cranberry Fruit Extract, Organic Seaweed Extract, Organic Green Tea Leaf Extract, ... .After wearing a face mask on and off during the day, my skin needs refreshing. That is what the moisturizer ingredients do. They are successful.
