Haven’t ridden with it yet so can’t attest to battery life. The build quality is nice and the light is bright and has a nice wide consisten pattern. I want to compare the brightness to a reputable light like the specialized flux expert or similar. I plan to mount it to my fork with the origin 8 eyelet mount and control it with the remote from my handlebars. The remote is micro usb and plugs into the charge port. I will need to buy a 1 ft micro usb extension but that’s fine. The remote has the same functions as the button on the light: hold to turn on and it will increase brightness then flash, release the button at the brightness you want. Then hold again to turn off. It seems like a good system and I’m satisfied. The yellow side illumination is quite bright for what it is, the brightest I’ve seen of it’s kind. For what I’ve experience so far and the price, I’d recommend this item over anything else in its class.
