BeckerCAD 14 - 3D CAD software compatible with AutoCAD and Windows 11, 10, 8 and 7 – for home design, architecture, engineering and more

Good program

I have a Blu-ray disk burner on my desk Win10 computer. The BeckerCAD 14 3D program loaded onto the computer just fine. It takes for ever whirring before anything popped up on the screen. I have an old portable CD drive I tried to use to load the BeckerCAD program onto my Win10 camper computer. The drive acted as if there was no disk in it. Then I tried a Cannon printer driver CD. That loaded fine from the old CD drive.I've used AutoCAD LT2010 for years. I took several old .DWG files and tried loading on BeckerCAD. They look just like they do on AutoCAD. I have no comment on how well it operates when creating a drawing. It looks mighty impressive for 50 bucks. Check what AutoCAD is selling for these days!! There's a steep learning curve that's going to keep me entertained for quite a while.

OK. So this thing has a lot to offer. It's taking me a little bit to navigate thru it. The set up is a bit different from what I'm use. Basically the same functions and features. Its just a matter of finding what I want. I haven't found a tutorial, but there are some examples to practice with. I should probably dust off my own hardware. The more I play with it, the better it gets.

Ive worked with Autocad a lot and this is nothing like it and very difficult to use.

Cannot find any tutorials in English.
