This could be really great - the metal is substantial, but the screws don't fit into the holes. The coating they used is taking up room where the thread is & thus, it makes the screws too big to fit. We are going to try other tools to try get the coating to come off (screwing the screws in with a stronger tool might dislodge it). 2 stars for metal quality! If we can get it together, I'll update my review, but things should just work when you buy products.

They upgraded the hardware since my last purchase a month ago. Still IMPOSSIBLE to get lined up for a screen. Same as my last one, I had to cut off bolts that were too long for the arm to clear, make custom shims for the platen to sit at correct angle for screen arm, make shims to fill in the massive gaps on all 3 sides of platen bracket. Once rigged up and 3-4 hours of aligning, it's a decent setup for the price. I run a few hundred shirts on these and they are great for a disposable unit. Hoping to buy 4 more (I keep them perminantly setup with a screen, only way I see pheasable for saving time with continuous runs of shirts), otherwise takes hours to realign a screen.

Back to screen printing shirts after 35 years. Considered making a press and found this one. Couldn't round up all the parts for what this cost. I like to assemble things and like a little challenge. No parts left over. I can see why some people are frustrated with assembly. The head mounting to frame was not as tight as I wanted so I drilled and tapped a couple extra screws and now head is rock solid. Pallet / platten supplied is for adult shirts. The youth shirts I had would not fit on the platten so I made a narrower and shorter platten that slides up and back - now I can easily print adult and youth shirts. I guess I voided the warranty, but happy with end result!

This item was hard to assemble since the instructions are sent as a DVD. I’m the DVD they don’t speak and it’s not clear what items to use where. My item also looked used. Looks like they even tried to touch up the paint. If I knew that was going to happen I could have went with the used option and it would have been cheaper.

The instructions that came with this were hard to follow so I needed to rely on YouTube for a video to put it together. I think I got some of the wrong hardware but was able to make it work and put it together. My wife is the one that uses it and it works great for her.
