I love this cold brew kit! After buying cold brew from coffee places for a few years, I decided I would try it at home. This is a great price for the quality. The basket that the grounds go in is very thick and good quality. The Ball jar is big and you can get a few days worth of coffee in one go. The directions are so simple and the coffee itself tastes great! The instruction booklet is pretty entertaining and has a ton of recipes which is going to be fun to try. Plus I love that you can use a new Ball jar top if it needs replacing. Overall I am so pleased with this product and will always have cold brew available in my fridge!

Having used a variety of methods to cold brew coffee, all of which made a real mess, I wanted to give this product a try. I am absolutely delighted with it! It allows me to cold brew without having wet coffee grounds all over the kitchen and is extremely ease to clean. Previously I tried using a cheese cloth bag that created an incredible mess and spilled coffee when trying to tie up the bag prior to placing it in the water. Then I had to deal with trying to empty the bag after completing the brew...another mess. The French Press method was another alternative but it produced batches that were too small and gritty with coffee grounds. Coffee filters and a couple of other methods left me almost ready to buy ready made brew but that is an expensive direction to go.This is so simple to use...just pour the coffee into the cone shaped fine mesh metal filter, put it in the included jar and slowly fill the jar with cold water. Clean up is even easier as all it requires is to dump the used grounds, give the filter a quick rinse and you are ready to brew up another batch. Total time is only a couple of minutes! The cold brew is totally without any coffee grounds at the bottom. The mesh in the filter is fine enough that you can actually use finely ground coffee if you wish.Great product!

For years I was buying individual coffee steeping pods that were amazing and consistent, but unnecessary. This method works great but requires a little extra effort or it comes out fairly weak.Recommended steps:1. In a separate container at least half the size of the provided bottle, add 2 cups of medium-ground coffee and filtered water.2. Store in fridge for 2-3 days and shake or stir the mixture daily.3. Put the filter inside the 2 Quart container and pour the mixture into the opening. You may need a spoon to get out all the remaining coffee grounds.4. Add water to the first container and stir around to get the residue coffee and pour into the container5. Add water to fill the bottle up the rest of the way.6. Wait at least 24 hoursTotal steeping time: 4 days. You can prep for this by starting another batch after the container is half empty.Optionally, drain your coffee into a separate, clean container, then pour back through the filter. I do this to get absolutely all the coffee flavor out of the grounds.--Pros:* Durable, simple, and a good filter* Easy to clean (especially if you have a good long-necked brush)* Uses a standard jar size that you can easily replace or duplicate if you want to make more coffeeCons:* Takes longer than 24 hours to steep coffee, unlike some alternatives.* The included book has a beautiful cover and some nice ideas for coffee, but it's not well written or easy to follow. They definitely need to hire a chef that's also an editor.Other notes:* Try to add a little cinnamon to the jar before anything else. Just tastes good.* Whatever you do, there will STILL be some small amount of sediment at the bottom of the container. I have not figured a way around this and hasn't really been an issue.

I freaking love this cold brew coffee maker! We usually just brew a pot of coffee and leave it in the fridge but I drink a lot of coffee and I was told that cold brew was less acidic. So I searched Amazon and decided on this set and I couldn’t be more happy. It comes with an awesome book explains the history of coffee and the differences between hot and cold brew, gives lots of tips and offers tons of recipes. I made my first batch last night and tried it this morning. SO GOOD!! Every thing is easy to use and easy to clean, looks cute with the mason jar... goes with my farm house vibe and is super easy to clean! So happy with my purchase!

I purchased this cold brew infuser because I love coffee! I use to make strong hot coffee and then add ice. I recently heard cold brew coffee is the way to go, so I purchased this infuser and I'm glad I did! It's really smooth and I no longer get a sour stomach, must be less acidic. The cold brew coffee drains quickly, so there's no wait time. It came with a stainless steel basket that's easy to clean. The value is great and it even came with a book that teaches you how to do it! The book includes different recipes for coffee, tea, and water drinks. I won't be spending a small fortune on Starbucks drinks anymore. I love it so much, I plan to buy these for gifts this holiday season! Overall, it came packaged nicely, its durable, seals great, and should last a lifetime! Very pleased customer here!

Best cold brew product I have purchased. Yes, sturdy, easy to clean, makes the coffee just perfect. All parts can go through the dishwasher. The recipe book is super cute. I would highly recommend. Add a few pounds of your favorite coarse ground coffee in a cute basket and this would be an adorable gift.I have purchased a few other brands and have tried many of the DIY options from straining through cheesecloth, paper towels, etc. The drawback of all these methods is the mess and subsequent clean up.The beauty of this is you can easily save the grounds for using in the garden and I have the best 'coffee' smelling garden in the world at this point...
