good product but mold is a little small for maraschino cherrys

I bought these to make chocolate covered cherries. They are so easy to use and they release the balls easily. I had a bit of a learning curve trying to get the right thickness of melted chocolate in the mold, but it was easy to learn. The family loves the candy!

I like to write positive reviews, and I wish I could for this one. I was largely disappointed in this mold because pretty much half of the chocolate covered cherries I made got crushed when I tried to remove them from the mold. They were tempered correctly, so it wasn't the issue with the candies themselves. The problem with these molds is the opening is narrower than the body cavity and so the candies can get crushed when you try to remove them. The only solution I can think of is to freeze the candies, then remove them. I haven't tried them with chocolate caramels, so maybe I'll have better luck with those since they would have a firmer texture.

The candy molds are excellent very easy to work with product will come out looking very professional highly recommend 10 out of 10 for me
