I bought this after a Melin hat did indeed manage to become severely sweat stained. Upon receiving I thought it was maybe made in the same factory and branded differently, but side by side that doesn't appear to be the case. The weave of the fabric and some small manufacturing details are different, and this hat is lighter in weight. Haven't had it long enough to determine if it is sweat-stain proof, but I'd happily buy this brand again for the price relative to the brand it attempts to copy. Feels good, looks good, a fine ball cap. To be fair to Melin, I haven't yet attempted to clean their hat.

I bought this for travel and to try out the style because I didn't really want to pay the premium for that other brand twice the price. That price seems absurd. Well, the hat has held up, cleans easily, fits great. Looks brand new after at least 6 months. I've backpacked with it, traveled in the islands, done hut-to-hut hikes, lots of golf... lots of activity in short. Take it in the shower after an activity, maybe soap it a little, rinse and let it hang dry. Still looks brand new.

Very sturdy and comfortable. I've used it for casual going out as well as for hard labor work, and it does great at absorbing sweat and then being washable (by hand is all I've done). Looks nice as well.

Let me tell you, I wear baseball caps all the time, and when my wife and I planned a trip for Hawaii, I knew I would need a water proof one. So I went on Amazon and found this one!If I could give this hat more than 5 stars I would!! I wore this through my whole trip to Hawaii! Whether I was horseback riding in the mountains, or swimming in this ocean, this hate basically never came off. Even while swimming, I had it on, as soon as I got out, the water would repel off the hat and it would be dry!!If you’re looking for a water proof hat, get this one!! It fits perfectly, floats, and looks good!I might have to replace my whole baseball cap collection for these!! Go out and get you one or two! You won’t regret it!!

Great fit and material. I like that it has a discrete logo that doesn’t stand out. Would buy again.

This light gray hat is the second I’ve purchased from this brand. The first as shown in the picture was the charcoal colored hat - I love this hat, it’s worn very well and I have no complaints. I thought I would buy a second in the gray color, but the sizing has changed pretty substantially.Looking at the picture, these two hats are both sized to perfectly fit my head. The new light gray hat is sized much bigger so that I have to have a lot of the snap unused - which to be honest, looks goofy. If I could reliably count on the same fit every time, I would buy more and rate this five stars.
