Amazing stopping power and Great price!
These are extremely nice sets of brakes the build quality and feel is superb. I initially purchased some off brand that didn't deliver braking power. I bought SLX and its very responsive stopping power and bite is just the amount I need. The package came complete as advertised. Very easy to setup and install. This came pre-bled and ready to ride. Lever adjustment is really convenient.

I have just installed this system on a Patrol Bike. So far they show great promise. Being Pre-Bleed is a plus for those who don't have the expertise to bleed from the start. My officer has many miles to go yet.The only thing I would suggest, depending on riding method, is install semi-metallic down hill pads. Make sure you pre-set pads with a feller gauge before you touch the lever!!I really like the tension adjustment on the lever.You can't go wrong with Shimano.K-

Excellent Brakes, but missing some pieces
Excellent product. The SLX break is a worthy upgrade from previous models. The packet came precisely as showed in the picture.The only problem I had is that it comes with ONE Hose bushing & Hose insert for BH90, and this lets you shorten one of the two brake cables. I now need to buy this pieces separately to reduce the other wire.

Good quality. Excellent cheaper alternative to an XT. In use for 6 months now, intense downhilling every week, no flaws.

Perfect upgrade
Awesome upgrade to my brakes, easy to install and already pre-bled. I might even buy another set to upgrade my other bike!

Not enough fittings to trim both assemblies.
While the day came with all the parts listed, I figured it was an error that it only came with one Olive and one insert. Surely if you need to trim one cable, you'll need to trim the other as well... Why not include TWO of the fittings... One for each assembly? The logic here just doesn't make sense. I'd give it a worse than 3 star review, but it says right in the description it only includes one of each.

Best brakes that I have ever used. Great stopping power with the ability to modulate amount of brake pressure that is applied
