This knife is surprisingly awesome. I got it because i was curious about the "cleaver" style blade and figured a moderately priced knife would be a good way to learn about it. It is now one of my favorite EDC knives.Is it truly Damascus steel? I'm not an expert and i don't know, but i don't really care. It looks neat, comes quite sharp, and feels strong.The shape of the blade is what i really like about the knife. Other cleaver blades tend to feel clunky and unwieldy, but this flows out from your grip in an ergonomic fashion allowing you to use either tip or edge depending on the job. The blade comes back from the tip to have a point that is "pointy" enough to pierce packages and start cuts. Be aware the blade is thicker than most.The handle is thick enough and the right shape for a strong ergonomic grip. A little texture would have been nice, but it's hard to get texture right so I'm happy as it is. My only complaint about the knife would be that the wooden grips don't come flush with the metal frame, which does affect the comfort of your grip.It's a bit heavy, which i don't mind but some people might not like it. It's also a bit bulky, which you can feel in your pocket. Again, i don't mind it but some people might.The leather sheath is silly and immediately went in the trash. The knife has a good clip and sits in the pocket well, so the sheath is completely unnecessary.

Not only is the knife very good looking, it’s also very sharp, and opens easily when you want it to. Would note, I bought both the black and the grey version, the black version is slightly larger. Not sure if I missed that in the dimensions, but it’s a good size and weight.

The media could not be loaded. I want to give it five stars I’ve really enjoyed the knife, Love the quick open, love its really, really sharp, not to heavy, & beautiful knife to own. Was using the knife to open amazon and other packages by cutting the tape open. The knife literally would sit next to the key bowl and only be picked up now and then to cut seals on delivery boxes. Yesterday I decided to go out with the knife while running errands and when I pulled it out to remove a dangling string on my wife’s outfit the knifes gripping finish had dropped two screws and there so small I couldn’t find them or see when they fell. Very saddening I really like this knife I purchased another one from the same company and noticed it has these screws as well. I use the other knife for work and not sure if it will lose its screws also someday. Not sure if it’s worth the price if it falls apart after mostly sitting on a counter to open mail and packages.

This is my 3rd pocket knife from this manufacturer. I love this knife. It was razor sharp out of the box. I highly recommend this knife. Well worth the money.

Good craftsmanship Good material, looks good, opens and closes good, looks good, not a expert on steel but with a magnifying glass you can see the fold lines on the flat edge and the sharp edge,and was very easy to put a razor edge on it just like real damascus steel, so yes I think that is real damascus steel. The one I received came with a cheap nylon sheath and no zipper case as shown, minus one star

I love this knife. It comes super sharp and ready to work. Opening the blade is almost effotless. This knife is a beautiful desk piece but at a pocket knife price 10 out of 10 highly recommended!!!
