This pond pump bag works a treat, stops the rubbish getting to the pump,

Our pump was blocking regularly before we got this. Recommended.

Good for the money
Stops bigger build up of sludge in pump. Could be slightly bigger as it’s fiddly getting the pump in but overall keeps the pump 70% cleaner

Not as effective as I had hoped for.
Like many other garden pond owners I find having to clean the filters every week a bit tiresome. Whist this cover prevented some of the larger debris from entering the pump filter it didn’t reduce the smaller algae particles getting through; personally I would have preferred a finer mesh !However it is well made and not expensive.
