Daniel Finds a Poem Hardcover – Picture Book, February 16, 2016

I bought this book for my 3-year-old cousin, the story and rhythm flows beautifully, it’s genuinely such a precious presentation of appreciation & observation. I enjoyed the illustrations & the sensitivity ‘Daniel’ expressed. Great themes about nature, mindfulness, creativity, & investing in interests/passions. I hope he enjoys it as much as I did!

Brings a tear to my eye whenever i read this book. my son got it from dolly parton and i bought this copy as a gift. very very good childrens book.

I LOVE this story -- that every one of us can become a poet by paying attention to the world around us. It has a subtle and powerful rhythm and each page is a beautiful experience. I'm certain that children will want to have it read to them again and again from a very early age.Gorgeously illustrated!

Great little book. I read to my fifth graders and then took them for a nature walk. They journaled as they walked and then wrote the most amazing, insightful open verse poems on their own. Lovely!

saw it at local library, love it immediately after reading it. Very beautiful and pictures are very pretty and rich.

A sweet story this daycare owner loves. Daniel explores nature and finds poetry in the beauty around him. The illustrations are stunning as is the message. Love this book

This had become one of my son's favorite books. I also don't tire of reading it to him. You will like it too.
