Well worth the effort and cost.
This motor was an exact for for my grandsons Tornado 250 that he blew up with the exception of one of the wires in the wiring harness which wasn't too difficult to fix. It fired right up and was well worth the price since you cant get replacement pistons for the stock motor. I couldn't have rebuilt that old motor for what this motor cost us to purchase brand new. I'd buy it again.

Cheaper than a rebuild, better than the stock engine
Was planning an engine rebuild for my 1985 Honda ATC 200s and after pricing out all the parts to build the engine I wanted it ended up being about twice the price of this engine. It shares the same exact mounting points for any 80s 185cc - 200cc Honda and bolted right up. Had to retrofit a clutch since the original engine was auto clutch and also a battery and starting/charging circuit as expected. Bike now has electric start, reverse and twice the power it used to. I have put this engine through its paces for almost a year with no issues at all. It will spin 22” knobby tires in reverse on dry asphalt and will stand the 300lb bike on wheelies with no problem. Clutch grab is very smooth and runs smoothly at all rpm’s once tuned correctly. Very torquey and seemingly reliable engine for the price.

My my my
Clutch was installed wrong ... clutch springs to tall clutch won't disingage... had to buy all new clutch pack.... gave 3 stars cuz it runs great...but sucks to have to fix a brand new engine...time parts and money...so tread carefully... runs great!!! But won't move...🤔 think about it?

Bad Clutch Right Out of the Box
Bought to replace the old motor on my Baja x 250 and the clutch wouldn’t disengage. Literally wouldn’t go out of neutral and the arm where the clutch cable connected to the motor wouldn’t move. Waste of $500 and I wouldn’t recommend. Only good thing is it bolted right up and ran ok. I couldn’t keep putting money in it so I was forced to sell my bike and pretty lost all the money I put into it cause of this crappy motor

Perfect fit with all my components.
Matched my exhaust and carburetor perfectly, that never happens for me usually. Expected to have to modify something but all the pieces of my frankenquad came together nicely. Only thing I can't figure out is the reverse indicator light. I'm sure it's me that's doing something wrong lolol. Neutral light works just fine. I have another one I'm building so I will be ordering another soon. The reverse gear was a must have. Couldn't be happier.

Easy install, but no manuals.
Installation is easy, but there are no manuals whatsoever. I had to reach out to Customer support for a simple question that would have been solved with a cheap lable on the wiring.

No clutch
Clutch doesn't function and by looking at the other reviews this isn't an uncommon problem
