I have 5 indoor rescue kitties on my farm. I needed an upgraded kitty potty to make my maintenance easier to accomplish. This has mostly helped with that. Realize that this thing is large! So plan accordingly. So at two months, 2 of the 5 kitties adopted it immediately, one has recently (took him 6 weeks to figure it out) adopted it. The other two look interested, but have yet to use it. How do I know? I set up a Kitty Potty Cam so I could correlate what the potty app was telling me with who was doing it. So it is taking some time for the other cats to join up, but I still have hope. I maintained a flat pan potty so that they would have options. I think that the biggest factor in their reluctance is the small "porthole" opening, but I think they will get over it sometime. Be aware bags do not come with it, even samples, and they take wide mouth and shallow ones to work. Otherwise it is working great and I expect it to continue for a long time.

This self cleaning litter box is definitely not worth the money. I purchased this product on January 7, 2023 and as of two days ago, it went offline, turned off and I wasn’t able to turn it back on ever since. Not only this litter box is not the best quality, it also doesn’t really do what it advertises. I have two cats and the odor is pretty heavy, the design of the product is very uncomfortable and does not allow for an easy clean or refill of the actual litter sand.Initially, I was very skeptical purchasing this product, as it was brand new on the market but the actual shape and design pushed me to buy it anyways, square-like shape seemed like a more practical choice to fit, essentially, in any corner. Not even 8 months later, I am yet again shopping for another litter box.

At first I was really worried about my cats using it. Both cats are about 12 pounds and looking from the outside, it seems smallish inside. My older cat who is 11 years old took right to it, she didn't have a problem at all. My young guy who is a year old was very suspicious of a box that moves and makes a sound. I had to relocate the litter box due to needing a power outlet, so once I set up the new machine, I placed the old litter box beside it. I basically ignored the young cat and after a few days of watching the old cat use the box, I saw him coming out of it. I was so happy! I discarded the old box, and they have both adapted beautifully. I love the convenience of the litter already being scooped into the tray. I did purchase some Johnny Cat liners (the machine does not come with a liner) to make cleanup a snap. We are getting much less litter tracking and I LOVE the deodorize feature. I have no idea how it works, but it does! It easily connected to my home wifi and once I downloaded the app, controlling it from my recliner or even when I am away is a breeze. I bought it about a 5 weeks ago, and would buy it again!March 12 update:1. Don't wait too long to empty the pan. I was away from home for several days, and the pan got too full. When removing, of course some spilled into the machine and I had to break down for a complete clean.I ended up taking the entire machine outside and using the water hose and a stiff brush and some bleach. It was NOT fun in the cold weather. In retrospect, if I'm leaving for more than 3 days, I'll set up the old manual scoop box to save the trouble.2. Find a GOOD clumping litter and use liners. I was using a cheaper brand, and the urine just made little mud pies that stuck to everything, the sifting forks, the roller, everything.3. Absolutely still worth the purchase, just don't expect it to be completely automatic. You'd have to train your cat to use the people toilet and flush for that!STILL love this box. Worth every penny!2 years and going strong - Completely blown away by the dependability of this box. The ONLY problem I have had is my own fault. I was sick and didn't clean as I should have. This let the tray get too full which caused some litter to get up into one of the little rollers that the drum spins on. I didn't realize the wheel had wet litter stuck inside it - I don't know how long it was on the wheel! The urine caused the metal in the roller to corrode and locked the little wheel up. I was able to disassemble the box and clean the roller out well and apply WD40 to get it spinning again.Still think it's the best money I've ever spent on my cats!!

Overall, I'm pleased with this little box. I have 3 adult cats and keeping up with their boxes sucked. I love not having to scoop litter anymore and won't be going back. This litter box is quiet, a decent size, comes with a nice mat and is easy to empty. One of my cats was afraid of it at first but eventually got used to it and has no issues.That said, I wish this litter box had a slightly better design. When time comes to deep clean the box, it can be a pain. There are areas where waste can build up which is hard to clean out (especially if your cat has soft stool). Waste also collects along the inner edge of the waste tray if it is slightly over filled. Additionally, adding litter isn't as accessible as I'd like. Instead of pouring in the litter, I have to scoop it into the small front opening. I empty the waste tray at least once a week, twice is really what it needs.Overall a good product and it does the job well.

So the litter box is my night stand because I’m in a small space right now I got this to keep the smell down I get really bad headaches from the smell of cat pee and it actually works really well I recently accidentally left it for 3 weeks (because of the holiday rush) and only noticed a little odor which proves this product really works, it’s really easy to clean, it was easy to assemble, the size is bulky but I was going for that because it’s my nightstand, it’s sturdy I think it says don’t put more than 10lbs on the top of it I think I have around that on there and there’s no problem. I do only have one small cat so this is perfect for her if you have more than two cats and they’re on the bigger side this is not the litter box you the opening is kinda small so I’ve been using a can to scoop litter into the box
