Would these fit a 2015 ninja 650 ?

Im pretty sure they will NOT fit , everything changed like bodywork , on the 2nd gen 650, I think they have an application to fit the 1st gen 1s

Yes. They fit my 2017 no problem same bike.

I just received mine and one slider is much shorter than the other, is this normal? If so, which side do they go on?

Yes, This is normal. There are only a hand full of kits that Shogun makes that have the same length slider on both sides. As for the sliders as if you were sitting on the bike the left side is the longer of the two. The instructions are listed right on the listing itself. You you type in 750-4519 into the Amazon browser they will pop up. In the pictures you will see the instructions. Also, on the outside of the box and inside of the Shogun box it tells you where to find the kit instructions. If you need assistance over the phone you can call them as well. Dax
