Love this. Really good Teleprompter.

Good quality Teleprompter from Neewer made from good materials and will last a long time if treated correctly. I am no expert in teleprompters but I have/used one before which is good BUT it is a beast big and heavy to the point I don’t really want to be carrying it around or can leave it setup it takes up a bit too much room. So when I saw this come up I jumped at the chance. Very easy it setup just attach it to a tripod or light stand, pull out the tray to match the size of your tablet or phone, place the device on the tray and then adjust the teleprompter screen/mirror so you can see the screen on your device and attach your camera to the mount at the back this just takes a few minutes if that. The first time you are using this you will need to download the app onto the device you will be putting on the teleprompter and pair the supplied remote with bluetooth this is all done in the app and that’s about it. Took me about five minutes to have it all up and running. The app is quick and responsive and easy to use. Then there is the script you plan to read you can create the script in the app or you can upload the file via the cloud storage but you will need to create an account with Neewer and upload the file then you can download it to your mobile device. I chose the 2nd method which is via WIFI of course the mobile device and computer will need to be on the same network, click on the WIFI button in the app and it shows you the IP address of the device then on the computer open a web browser and enter the IP address for the URL it will connect and you can upload the file then follow the prompts on the mobile device the transfer is quick. The teleprompter is reasonable small and very lightweight which is a huge bonus making this truly portable if you need to go to locations with it and can easily put it on a shelf or store away when not in use. Comes in a nice bag that is well padded to help protect it, also comes with two cleaning cloths and the remote control which needs two AAA batteries which are not supplied. Overall I am happy with the teleprompter, I feel it is a fair price and I would recommend it.

For a content creator on a budget this is a quite decent option to give you a teleprompter for vlogging, reviews and the like. The unit itself is a nice and easy to use assembly that folds and unfolds with minimal to no construction required between uses, its a sort of set it up and test it works device and away you go next time by just unfolding and attaching the mount to your camera and camera to the rail. The hood for the camera is plenty long enough and sufficiently darkens the area so as to minimise / eliminate glare from the camera. Of course one thing you have to be aware of is that by the nature of the type of device this is (a two way mirror really) the light to the camera is cut a bit so you will need extra illumination for your filming (or a very bright day), or to adjust your camera accordingly. The app is "ok" but not great, its basic but serviceable, the remote however does make this easier to use and allows you to change font size, speed etc. Really this is designed for a tablet due to its size and the size of the holder, but can work with a phone in a pinch. Value wise its OK! Its quite a complete set at a competitive price so long as your tablet is not larger than the 11inch max supported size

Have you ever watched your YouTube content back and realised that it's really obvious that you're reading something off camera? Well, worry no more because this teleprompter will solve that exact issue! I've always felt that I wanted to get one, but they were quite expensive - that's not the case here, it comes in at a very nice price point. Set up is easy, it's just a case of some folding and adding the device you're going to use to power it - a tablet, phone, etc. You then cover up your camera with the provided cover, and you're away - nothing difficult here. Having a remote to control your script is excellent. I've used teleprompter apps in the past that just carry on scrolling, and if you fluff your lines, then you've got to fiddle with it - again, none of that here. I'm really impressed with this teleprompter at this price point, and I'd really recommend it. It's great for solo creators like myself, and it means much less messing around as you record - any time saving is a good saving in my eyes.

An sich sehr zufrieden. Macht was es soll. Kopplung mit Bluetooth funktioniert anstandslos mit meinen iOS Geräten. Die unterkonstruktion könnte kompakter gestaltet sein. Ist etwas friemelig wieder in den Koffer zu bekommen

This teleprompter has made my talking to camera roles so much easier. It comes in a nice attache case that everything packs down into for storage when not being needed. There is a remote control included but it only works with iPads or Android tablets. I have a Microsoft Surface Pro so I used a Logitech R800 presenter remote instead. You can usually program different buttons for different functions within the teleprompter software, and the free one I got from the Windows store allowed any buttons to be linked to whatever functions. I had mine set up for stop / start / rewind and adjust speed, but it could be programmed for other functions. The unit is easy to set up. The tray comes out just over 20cm so was deep enough to take my Surface Pro 5, and should work with other regular sized tablets like iPads and Galaxy Tabs. There is a movable arm on each side which you can use for attaching lights or microphones on either the tripod mount or a cold show mount, although since the tripod mount has a female threaded fitting and most lights and microphone mounts also have a female threaded fitting, it would have been good if they'd included a male-male adapter as I had no way of attaching any of my devices to these arms. Underneath there are many tripod mounting screw positions of two different sizes to make it easy to position it correctly on your tripod. The hood on the back of the glass ties nicely around the lens on my Nikon DSLR and there are no reflections during use. The lens on my camera sat pretty low behind the screen, which means when I'm looking at the centre of the glass it appeared as though I was looking slightly above the camera. It would be good if it could be adjustable in height so you can position the lens in the centre of the glass. Overall very happy with this purchase.
