Great game!
Arrived brand new! Perfect packaging and very fast delivery. Game itself is awesome! Most visually stunning WWE game in series. In depth modes, back stage play, and the biggest roster of all time. The create features are superb. Create a story is awesome. Where it really shines is create a wrestler. Yes, you can upload your own face and with a little work can have the likness of virtually anyone. If you are a WWE fan you will be happy with this game.

2K is Raw
Great game full of superstars! Rented the game for a day and had to buy it! This game keeps you thinking as if you're actually in the ring fighting. Very realistic and tough to play. The submission bar is the hardest where you have to rotate the analog stick a certain way which is very frustrating at times. Legendary stars on the game like: Stone Cold, Lita, Goldberg, Sting and so many others make this game worth getting and playing.

Amazing creation suite
Amazing creation suite. You can really go wild on this one and make some truly unique CAWs, with great movesets and entrances. Furthermore, the rooster plus DLC represents a truly great diverse range of superstars. If your passion is to let your imagination lose and have some buddies to "layeth the smacked down " this game is for you. Beware however the game has an in game currency for unlocking some superstars(they start you with 30k, wrestlers are worth 5K avarage and you can earn around 300 per match), arenas and other things this can be a chore if you're on your own. With friends as you play you earn and you can easily lose the hours in great fun. Pros: Great Creation suite. Match diversity. Great roster. Modern atmosphere. Cons: Lack of intergender matches. Extremely boring Mycareer. Kind of annoying currency system.

WWE relive
A very realistic game. Although it's sometimes hard to get the upper hand. If we won all the time it ll take the fun and challenge of it away. There are hidden old school wrestlers besides the purchasables. If you can think of them they're probably there. You can purchase the old WWF titles from the 80s. Make your WWF Wrestling Spotlight or Saturday Nights Main event. I can't figure out if I like this or 2k19 better. There are more created Wrestlers hidden in this one. The one thing I don't like is the problem from 2002 when you can't get the announcer to pronounce the name. Update, keep in mind the servers are down now but uts better than 2k20

2k is not and will never be THQ - wwe 2k series is terrible review/rant
let's start off with my career/my player mode which they call road to glory its pretty much a discount road to Wrestlemania mode, but done terribly with the only difference is that u have to create a wrestler to start this mode. first off the dialogue for this game is awful a lot of bad grammar for interaction prompts trash story which goes all over the place and gameplay is so boring that fell asleep with the controller on my hands. its like they took everything that was great about road to WrestleMania made it unfun and awful: the story is bad, no voice actors, the soundtrack is bad for christ sake even with Dwayne the rock johnson "the people champ" being the exclusive producer for the soundtrack could not save this game with garbage songs and songs that doesn't even fit for a wrestling video game genre like easy e: [the boyz n the hood], the blues brothers, joe walsh, disturbed: [down with the sickness], george thorogood the destroyers and Boston; [smokin']. and whenever u select a wrestler you'll hear LILIAN GARCIA announced the wrestlers name it reminds me of thq's smackdown just bring it when u select anything on the main menu u hear the menus being named out loud it was annoying when thq did something like that back then and i hate it now with 2k series this game literally sounds and plays like wwe 13 all the way down to the sound effects matches are still the same from last years i found 2k wwe series even more terrible and a cash grab since they never put out something like a greatest hits edition where all the dlc's are already included in the game bcuz once they cut the servers off the dlc's will no longer be available i refused to pay more then 20 dollars for any of wwe 2k games bcuz they all broken and glitchy and it feels like ur playing the same games of all the previous years with little minor changes and an update to the rosters ur never gonna get ur money's worth with 2k. gameplay for the most part is ok at best ppl need to stop comparing games from the past they're nothing alike its more like a downgrade with each year having missing features games that came out 20 years ago has more content then any of wwe 2k games combined even ecw hardcore has more variety for ur matches then anything wwe 2k has ever put out even the blood splatter and voice over taunts still til this day has never been matched and has never been implemented in games anymore since acclaim

I like it, but DLC & an expired code bring it down
I like this game, but I have one major gripe that applies not only to this one, but also to many other games (in all genres). I'm so sick, sick, SICK of effin' DLC and "Deluxe" and "Day One" (or whatever) editions that have codes that expire. This is especially frustrating when there is a large amount of stuff for a game that you don't have access to from the beginning, as on this one, and you get fooled when you see and buy the Deluxe (or whatever) Edition for a really good-looking price, unaware that the code has expired --- which is what happened to me with this one. I ordered it late last year (as a Christmas present to myself!) because I found it for a little under $30, and thought I was getting a real bargain for a Deluxe Edition. (Guess I shoulda known it was too good to be true!) I was unaware that the code had almost JUST expired, and I found out upon opening the game on Christmas Day. I ended up paying about 30 freakin' more dollars for DLC (Season Pass and Accelerator, and maybe something else) anyway because there was so much content that was locked or had to be downloaded to begin with, and the game just didn't seem close to complete to me without it (or at least without the wrestlers, especially the "legends" and the Hardy Boys). That didn't exactly add to my holiday cheer. (It was kind of like 2K had said to me, "Merry Christmas, sucker!!") At least I didn't pay $60 or more for the base game, so even with the DLC that I ended up paying for --- and the Kurt Angle pack (not included in the Season Pass), which I still have yet to get --- I suppose it could have been worse. (I don't really mind not having Batista or RVD, and I REALLY don't particularly care to have two more versions of John Cena. The "pack" for those guys is not included in the Season Pass, either.) But still, a COMPLETE game for a not-too-high price would be nice. If game developers are going to insist on making DLC (or a lot of it) for games, I think that what they really SHOULD do is do away with timed codes and only charge about $20 or so for the base game at release, since $30 or more for DLC would bring the total amount of money spent up to at least around $50 (and that isn't an amount I would pay without grumbling). Of course, money is the bottom line with video games, so it's most likely going to be a cold day in you-know-where before THAT happens. While I'm on the subject of evil game-developer tactics, I must say that it amazes me how a lot of people will pay high prices for games before release to get pre-order bonuses that (to me, anyway) definitely do NOT make it worth paying that much for the games! But people WILL go for that extra little bit of gratification, even if the price is high, and game developers know that, and use it to their advantage. As I said, money is the bottom line. Despite my above rant, I do enjoy this game. I'm really not a huge WWE fan (and thus I don't ever look for the "ultimate WWE experience"), but I usually like wrestling games (I think a lot of people tend to be maybe TOO demanding and critical of them, as well as of other sports games), and I like a lot of the "older" wrestlers --- that is, a lot of the ones who were around in the '70s-to-early-'90s. The guys who appear, or rather, who CAN appear on this game from these periods (all of who now MUST be bought with in-game currency or real-life currency via the Accelerator) are the ones that I like most on the game; I know and like some of the "later" wrestlers, but I don't really know many of the ones who came around MOST recently, as I admittedly haven't watched wrestling in years. (Probably the biggest "legend" missing here, both in the unlockables and the DLC, is the Hulkster.) You can really let your imagination and creativity run wild in the the create modes; you can pretty much create your own anything that is wrestling-related --- wrestlers, move sets, belts, rings, and more! You can even make your own outfits for ANY of the real-life guys, rather than just for a select few, as on previous games (though I don't think the buyable guys' costume parts are there until after you get the guys). As I recall, the last WWE game (at least for a PS system) that had costume parts that belonged to particular guys in real life (with their designs and stuff on them) was SmackDown: Shut Your Mouth, MANY games ago on PS2! Whichever wrestlers (if any) you may or may not have bought for this game, the selection of costume parts is MUCH more extensive than we've been used to seeing for a LONG time. However, I find it odd that the game doesn't have "patterns" to use on costume parts, like previous WWE games did, and that a lot of the generic "designs" available to put on costume parts in previous games also seem to be missing here. (I personally haven't played the PS4 versions of previous games that were also made for PS3, but as far as I know, the stuff I've said here is accurate.) I really can't comment on how it is to play against the AI, as I'm more of a play-with-other-humans guy when it comes to wrestling games (although I never play games online). When neither you nor the person or people you're playing with are great at playing a game, that's not nearly as bad as it can be when you play against the AI and are bad at playing! In fact, in my experience at least, it can actually make things more fun! As far as bugs and glitches, I honestly can't say that I've encountered any on this game yet, at least any that I recognized as such. A lot of times with video games (especially wrestling games), a lot of people will complain about bugs and glitches that, to me, are not really bothersome or that I've never come across in many playings. Of course, these days it is not unusual for games to be pretty buggy and glitchy when they first come out, and to later be fixed (at least somewhat) with so-called "patches" … which brings me around to another modern-day game-developer tactic that I hate: shoving games out, bugs and all, seemingly without first playtesting them thoroughly, with the attitude of "eh, if there's any bugs or glitches, we can patch 'em up later." After all, the sooner they can possibly get a game out, the sooner they can start making money on it (especially from the people who feel they MUST spend top dollar for it at [or before] release), right? Also, while I like to watch AI matches on wrestling games (and this applies to wrestling games in general on which you can have these), they can get kind of dumb, as I've seen the AI do some pretty boneheaded things --- like toss an opponent into a corner and then just stand there staring at them, or keep standing and picking up a weapon and then putting it back down over and over again! Ay-yi-yi. One thing that I find sort of odd about WWE games these days (although it doesn't really bother me; it may be more of a problem for other people) is that you can't have inter-gender matches. You could have them way back when; why not anymore? Even if these don't occur that often in real life (not that I would really know, these days, but I don't think they used to), why refuse to let people have them AT ALL on a game? However, it seems there are more of other kinds options for matches, which give you a least a LITTLE more control over them than we've been given before. I do have one more issue with this game. This is the first WWE game that I have actually bought for or played on my own PS4, and it takes up a HUGE amount of space. Because of this alone, I'm not sure if I'm ever going to get any other WWE games for PS4, especially if they're even bigger memory-wise (unless maybe I uninstall this one, which I probably won't, after the things I've done on it and the overall amount of money spent on it). As I said before, I do like this game, but since this Deluxe Edition has a now-expired code, and since there's so much (including so many wrestlers) that isn't on the game right away and that now MUST be paid for (with real or virtual money), I have to give it just three stars. Those issues are what really bring the game down for me. (Also, sorry for the length of this review!)
