This is perfect for a small nano aquarium or bowl , easy to use and still going strong

I initially really liked this little heater as it was compact and easy to use but the last few days I noticed that the temperature reading kept creeping up above what I had set it to. Thinking it was correct I reduced the set temperature until spotting today that my fish are now suffering ill health due to the colder temperatures. The water was cold to touch and yet the read out was coming in at the high 28-30. Thankfully I still have my old heater to get me through the night but I can only hope that my half moon betta survives. I am really upset and although I purchased on the 4th of October and it is only now the 17th December, its now outside the return window I can't even return it as defective via Amazon.

AVOID. Worked well and was a really good product and easy to use. However as I have read with most of the reviews it stops w9kr9ng after a short period of time and the supplier has disappeared from amazon. Please avoid! Luckily even though states only 30 refund, because of above amazon are refunding me for item as clearly a scammer

Bought the 100w heater allowing 2w per litre which this heater should easily handle. Worked well for 3 days and temperature displayed near enough what the other sensors displayed.Came out this morning water was cold and the led was off. Checked fuse and thats ok. Tried tonight and again nothing. It was set to just above its minimum (18.5) so I was not exactly "pushing" it to its limits.What I did notice, and unless it draws high amperage at start up, it had a 13amp fuse which, I believe, is far too high. Calculating amp draw is approx 0.45a (a=w/v) a 3 amp fuse would suffice (im not an electrician and don't have full specs of this product so hopefully an electrician can confirm)Organised a return and refund

We bought this as its more energy efficient that the one our relatively small fish tank came with. Works great but only for tempid water fish, some of our tropical fish weren't so happy. (1 or 2 mysteriously disappeared).

I have used this type of heater for many years, have purchased many, only had problem with one , which was refunded no arguments, so purchased another .

Lasted a few month not overly Impressed

I had a version of this for years, until I was cleaning the tank and hit it to the glass and it broke. I knew I can trust it to not fry my fish so I got a new one.Great little thing, and doesn't take up to much space.

I have a tiny biorb halo 4 gallon aquarium with very limited space, this was the smallest heater I could find on the market so I thought I'd give it a go for a couple of weeks before I add my shrimp. It's been on for around 60 hours now and the water temperature is 24°c (75°f), the heater thermometer is saying 26°c (79.5°f) so just be aware that the temperature displayed is not the water temperature, you'll need a separate thermometer to see water temp. I think this 4 gallon is the limit, it has taken a while to bring the temp up but it got there!I like how inconspicuous it is. It's smaller than a Bic lighter. Make sure you get a suitable adapter, if you don't use a 10Amp or more it won't get enough power to heat, you can't just use any usb adapter plug.So far so good, I'll update if anything changes

Exactly what I needed for my betta fish tank. I have a 1 gallon tank and this heater is just a perfect size.Keeps the temperature.
