Geological Wonders of Namibia

Geological Wonders of Namibia is an excellent book for people who are interested in the geologic history and geology of Namibia. The book is well written and engaging. The authors integrate the geologic history of Namibia with the history of the Earth's formation and geologic processes over time. It is a fascinating read. I do wish that the authors had included a geologic time scale for reference, but those are easy to access elsewhere.

I'm a geologist and I travelled in Namibia with this book. The book is well written and there are lots of useful photos. The scientific nature of the book is in perfect harmony with the narrative. I recommend this book for all those who want to go to Namibia.
