These are real Texas Western or Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnakes that have been made into keychains. This keychain measures approximately 2" to 3" long (rattle and strap, not including the metal ring) and less than 1" wide. The real rattlesnake rattle measures 1" to 2” long. The rattle is attached to a leather thong looped around a metal ring. The rattlesnake tails are freeze dried. You can dip the rattle in water and then shake off the excess water so that the rattle does not dry out. None of our rattlesnake products come from California or Oregon. “Please note : These are natural, not manufactured products. While on the rattlesnake, the rattle can be dragged along sand & rocks as the rattlesnake slides around the desert. As such, please understand that sometimes a button or 2 can be cracked or broken

looks great, very well preserved
This was perfect for me to replace a rattle snake tail that had been stolen from a snake skin that I had mounted in my garage. I did not use it as a key ring. I glued it onto the preserved snake skin. From a few steps away it could pass for the original tail.

Better than Expected
Bought 3 of these for my grandsons. All rattles were longer than expected and all had nice rattle sounds. I am glad I chose this item.

Perfect!!!
This rattle is a little over 2", just as I ordered. Arrive protected by a cotton filled box = no damage. Looks great too.

Sent this to my brother in law in AZ, since he has wanted one for awhile. Not my thing, but nicely made. Very happy.

Not for regular use I suppose
Got it for my son and he said he was cautious with it but it crumbled to about nothing in less than a week.
